The Meze Grill in Plymouth

Late supper here, with wife & student daughter in early Jan. Food & drink was great. Service a little uneven - we were left alone for quite a while after mains cleared, and needed to get staff's attention again to request desserts (they appeared engrossed in conversation...). Pricing reasonable. Would happily return.

Absolutely beautiful and delicious food. We tried the meze and everything was just gorgeous.The staff was very attentive and friendly and the host (?) was very naturally welcoming. We were made to feel right at home.Lovely evening and we will be back when we're in Plymouth the next time.

the food was enjoyable except my chicken was practically raw! when i asked for it to be replaced it took 30 minutes to come back, meanwhile the rest of my party had finished their whole meal and i was sat eating alone. the staff were friendly enough but surprisingly did not take the meal off of the bill?! mistakes happen i understand but it really shouldn’t take that long to replace a kebab

The waiter came quickly to take our order, but he didn't seem to know the menu very well. The fried calamari starter was not crispy; lamb cutlets was tasty; the paella was tasty and in big portion. The baklava dessert somehow is as hard as cardboard.

Had a great meal and all the staff were friendly. Awesome.

Trying to decide where to eat on a Sunday evening. We looked at the menu and after speaking to a lady who was leaving and telling us how good her meal was, decided to go in. I chose the paella and my wife settled on the lamb souvlaki.The food was fantastic and owner and staff very helpful and attentive, Excellent all round. If you are ever in this part of the world give it a go you won’t be disappointed 👍
