The New Lanterns Restaurant in Plymouth

Taken out for a mother's day meal. Great food excellent service. Forgot to take oil of biscoff cheesecake

Popped in today 26.3.22 on the off chance they had a table. We were greeted by Chelsea who was just amazing, very attentive and charming and it was a pleasure to be served by her....definitely an asset to the restaurant. The meal was amazing, full marks guys!

Lanterns Superb! Lovely family friendly restaurant! My daughters favourite place to eat. Great service, friendly staff cant fault it. We love it here. Great menu choice and quality food, more than reasonably priced.

The staff were excellent, super friendly. We had the the course set menu with was yummy and good value for money. The atmosphere with chilled and relaxed. The restaurant losses a point as it wasn't the best roast I'd ever had.

Love Lanterns!Lanterns is a greek themed local eatery near Plymouth's Frankfort Gate, and opposite the old pannier market.The food is good, the service is better. It's only a small place so I'd suggest booking in advance.My friends and I have eaten here for special occasions many times and Ive never been disappointed.

Always make a point at booking a table when on holiday in Cornwall. Well worth the drive for delicious freshly cooked food. You may have to wait a while but highly recommend. Book before you go so you are not disappointed if you cannot get a table.

Had a meal here before visiting the Theatre Royal to see 9-5 (Excellent) The restaurant was fully booked and we were pleased that we had a reservation! Seems to be a very popular eating place and the food was excellent, great portions, quite large!! I had the Duck main course and it was beautiful. The sticky Toffee pudding is really light and very tasty. Will definately go back when in Plymouth.

10 years ago this place would of scored a 5 star, easily. Went there for the first time in years today and to be honest it sucked!Food was very bland and the meat was just gristle. Starters came out just about Luke warm (soup)No personality in the place or the people anymore. You used to be greeted like you were family and were made to feel valued and comfortable, all this has gone. What a shame

Lovely place, celebrated a birthday there. Staff were amazing. Very busy all the time. Food was lovely and price range is good value. We took a cake and they put candles in and brought it to us. Will definitely go again
