Just had a great meal here service was good, attentive and polite. No waiting. Food looked attractive and tasted lovely. We booked for 8pm and was seated straight away.

Deserve no star. We booked and paid deposit amount to make sure about the service. We were shocked to see no responses, space and staffs in the restaurant. Not even sorry, we were 32 people and had find some other places. Not recommended to anyone.

I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese takeaway we have ever had (and we have had many, many different ones). We have ordered food from here several times now and it has been absolutely fantastic each time. The taste and quality of the food is brilliant, especially the meat, all absolutely delicious. They have a great choice on the menu, we have tried several things and everything has tasted really great! I can’t remember if we took a picture of ours, we usually dive in too quickly! Definitely worth more than 5 stars! :)

Ate in tonight for first since the pandemic, it was fairly quiet with very few tables occupied. The 2 servers were very friendly and efficient and the food was plentiful and very tasty, the price extremely reasonable we were shocked at the bill it just didn’t seem enough and we’ve paid more for takeaways elsewhere! We left a good tip to show our thanks and they were very appreciative. The only reason for drop of 1 star is as others have mentioned there’s a constant flow of delivery drivers from all online franchises (Deliveroo, ubereats etc) we were sat to the side so didn’t impact our eating experience but some were quite loud and swearing in their vocabulary, so would not make for a romantic meal out, personally we can deal with this but others would not.As business owners ourselves totally understand the need to utilise all financial opportunities especially since Covid, i.e the takeaway side, our constructive feedback would be maybe shield this off in some way using the partitions possibly by creating a corridor along one wall.

Deserves No Stars. The Red Lantern in Plymouth. 45 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink. Keith's back being slammed by the door by the delivery people. May as well have had "the table for two" in the lobby. We eventually were moved only to be isolated from other diners. Keith's face says it all, "the waiting is the hardest part" When the food finally arrived it was actually not that bad, well you cannot fu#k up rice surely? Part of the food I was eating was swiped away as soon as we paid. I nearly said "Hey! I was still eating that"! So to sum up, it's OK if you like sitting in "Deliveroo City".

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK A TABLE HERE TO EAT IN THE RESTAURANT. It's tragic and I hate leaving a negative review but since lockdown first started, this restaurant has gone from a classy, relaxing and delicious place to eat out, to an absolute nightmare. This used to be our favourite place to eat out and yesterday we had booked a table for Becky's 40th birthday, a very special, once in a lifetime celebration.Evidently their takeaway business has increased, but this is to the detriment of higher paying customers eating in. A third of the restaurant has been screened off and is now being used by 'volunteers' (friends and family of the owners/manager/staff by the look of it) playing dominoes VERY VERY loudly, clacking, shoving then around the table, slamming then down, the noise was horrendous. Combined with incessant beeping, assumed to be an online ordering alert, and a constant stream of delivery drivers in shorts, t shirts and baseball caps carrying huge insulated delivery bags, we became very tense and uncomfortable and asked to be moved to the other end of the restaurant. Unfortunately, this was next to the entrance door so the drivers were even more intrusive, and for some reason, the telephone was linked to a loudspeaker in the corner and was constantly ringing at high volume. Add to this an incorrect starter being served (we ordered BBQ ribs but got 4 ribs smothered in a sickly honey gloop) we walked out before the main course was served, being unable to stand the noise. There was no relaxing music, it was the opposite to a relaxing evening out. Appalling experience, totally ruined our special occasion. We'll never go there again and would like to warn anyone thinking of booking a table, not to. We would also like to suggest to the management that if you are unable to offer a proper dining experience, CLOSE YOUR RESTAURANT! It's not cheap, we spend about £80-£90 each visit for the 2 of us, and feel we deserve a better experience

I ordered my food 30 minutes ago and its arrived in good time, about 5 minutes before i write this review, its hot, cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. The guy who took my order on the phone was polite and lovely and even the delivery driver was smiling and polite at the door. The pan fried pork dumplings are the best i have had and the egg fried rice is perfect. I will be going here again all the time now.
