Nice pub in a nice location. Had the pork and apple sauce sandwich. Not bad but don't think the vanilla flavour is a good thing. Would go here again. Clean tidy and professional staff. Attentive enough to earn a tip! Well done guys..

Was able to be accommodated on an impromptu visit without booking in the bar area. I would definitely recommend booking though as there were no bookable seats left.Had a lovely meal with friendly staff. Service was rapid but not in an "just heated it up" way. You could tell it was fresh.Protions were massive too and the food really tasty.I liked that wherever possible they source the food and drinks locally too.Would recommend and we will definitely be going back again.

As the Waterfront was offering a two for one 'all English breakfast' thought l would give it go. On a glorious morning, popped in with ten friends for a 'brekky'. No booking made, just walked inGreeted with a friendly smile and quick service. All breakfasts arrived together were all all piping hot. Great offer and value for money.Plus a superb location on a sunny morning. Just wrap up warm if sitting outside.Remember two for one breakfasts only take place Monday through to Thursday. Early birds, will avoid the crowd. I recommend a quick check on their website, or call them

The location is fantastic. In all weather's, you get the sun and the view and even in a storm its great. We've been here a few times, for breakfast and coffee and few few drinks at night and for us the service has been great. Breakfast are good, as is the coffee's.

Good food, comfortable surroundings, quality gin selection. Never had anything but good times here.

The position is fabulous, especially on a sunny day, plenty of outdoor seating and free parking if you are lucky, which I was...the staff are cheerful and helpful..sadly the food not so good...rather a tough lump of meat and knives too blunt to cut it..most other people seemed to be having fish and chips which looked great so possibly we should not have tried to be different.I will go again.. for a coffee and a sandwich ...our meal was £38 for two people..food and two non alcoholic drinks.

Highly recommend this place:scrumptious food, including vegan options too, great view, fab and friendly staff- especially Leanne who was very nice, helpful, friendly, professional and so polite. We would definitely book again.

I really wanted to love this place, and to start with I did. The location and views were perfect, and the staff were helpful and friendly. So far so good but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The battered fish was so soggy, and the kids burger was really overdone and dry like cardboard. Such a shame, maybe just an off day for food??
