Don't go if you're seriously vegan. The lady showed me vegan options on the menu. All looked great so I asked for her recommendation. She got very enthusiastic about one particular dish and I followed her intuition. I ate half of my portion when suddenly I realised that the bottom of my bowl was filled with cooked meat! I asked her if that was meat (I wasn't sure but it was suspiciously stringy like a real body part), she confirmed in terror. She spoke to the chef and apologised. Apparently, they have two versions of the same dish with the same name. She gave me free baklava to comfort me. But at least 25% off my bill would be a more recognised behaviour in such a situation. I'm kind-hearted but imagine I was vegan because of an allergy. Toot's mistake might have cost both of us.

Wanted to try this place for a while. But I felt disappointed with the service and food.I was not shown to a table nor was the menu given to us (we just winged it and sat on the upper floor and found their menu on a table). The place was too dim and I did not find table and chairs fit with the decor (we sat on their outside seating, better and very Persian but cold).Food was alright but a bit overpriced, but would be better if they actually put on the menu told us beforehand items that were not available on the day instead wasting time looking at it and then told.Don't think I will come back, if I want middle Eastern food, I prefer Bamo (though its Kurdish).

Excellent customer service and delicious tasty food. We spent some time chatting to the manager, a very friendly and happy-go-lucky person, who made fantastic recommendations for some dishes too. We had a great time!

Went to Toot at short notice in half term..they let us in even tho it was nearly 8pm midweek. Great tasty food..spicy but not too hot. Large portions..we could have shared rice..but then they offered a takeaway box to take the rest home. Great food..very reasonable and convenient for the Uni or Plymouth Arts Cinema.

AmazingOrdered food for collection on Saturday, wanted to try something different, the food was amazing, everything was hot, well packaged, and really tasty. We ordered meatball and harissa potatoes for starter, and the kebab for two to share as a main, there was a lot of food and we are not small portion eaters. We ordered some bread, and this was lovely should have bought more it was so good. Dessert was Baklava this came as several different sizes and shapes, so it was a good variety. if you have haven't tried this place it’s really worth giving a go. I couldn't fault anything on the menu for flavor, and quality. We will be ordering again.

A real Plymouth gem! Persian food is hard to come by these days let alone amazing Persian food and this place has really got it right. We've been here a few times now when on holiday and it's always amazing food, 2 koobideh with rice, mast-o-khiar and bread is heaven on a plate.

Great food in a lovely little restaurant. Recommended by a family member who had been here before Covid. So glad we came. Many thanks to the two front of house staff that were on tonight. Both fairly new but they managed a fairly busy Saturday night well. We'll done Millie!!!!

Highly recommend this restaurant - amazing ambiance and excellent food!We had our dinner from this Persian restaurant during our summer break last year. This place looks so absolutely gorgeous with a great selection of colors / pictures on the wall mostly portraying Iranian cultural aspects that really makes you feel that you’re in Iran. The staff is very friendly and the lady (who runs the place) served us with a big smile and had a very warm personality. She also guided us with our food choices and made sure that we understand each and every item on the menu. Each and every item that we ordered (including drinks / dessert) was absolutely delicious and really exceeded our expectations. I have not visited many Persian restaurants but honestly speaking I never tasted such a great Persian cuisine before. This place is right in the middle of the city centre – so, if you happen to be visiting Plymouth you can’t go wrong with this restaurant.

Basic description:Hospitable, authentic persian restaurant. Colourful interior with a beautiful balcony/terrace area on the floor above. A good very variety of food on the menu.Personal Experience:The staff are very attention and friendly. The food wasn't elaborate, which is good, and could be enjoyed with and without cutlery. We couldn't decide on our dishes so we chose the platter/meze style set menu. Started off with a jug of mocktail that nurtured our appetites. Each dish was great eaten on their own, and combined with others. And it came with a homely dessert of persian tea and baklava, the baklava was warm and fresh. Our meal was no more expensive than a pub meal (££) and reasonable for the high quality of cuisine.Overall Conclusion:Very homely, pleasant and relaxed experience, tasteful food and authentic reasonablly priced persian meal. Attentive and friendly staff. One of, if not, the best restaurant I've visited. Worth at least one visit if you're in Plymouth. Will come back.
