Ordered a katsu curry for my son and noodles. The noodles were freezing cold (not sure of they were even cooked) and the curry sauce he received was this (see photo) wagas used to be top class but lately its gone down hill massively!!Also, I'm not even kidding, that was the amount of curry sauce he got for his vege katsu curry. Embarrassing.

Food was incredible (I'd never been before) best first impression a restaurant could make really. It was quite busy when we got there and started to rain. Staff came outside with umbrellas and hot green tea, such a nice little moment there : ) then the food was just amazing. No one at my table had a single complaint. Our server Connor was lovely too : ) thanks for a great night guys, I will definitely be back again.

Good food (would give 5 stars), terrible serviceWhile at first we were seated and served promptly, the issues started with service.First one lot of food arrived quite a bit later so the other was finished much sooner. These plates were then cleared while the other one still eating making us feel rushed. However when we both had finished we then had to wait 30 minutes to be approached whether we wanted dessert, which we ordered and was promptly served. However after this we then had to wait another 30 minutes to be approached about paying despite our server being aware we were paying with gift cards when we ordered desserts. While waiting we were approached by our server with numerous excuses about why we had to wait. These included taking final orders, which was ok as it needed doing, we then proceeded to see them take the order, serve some of the orders and clear tables and have conversations. With tables seated after us leaving earlier. We were then finally given means to pay and while handing over the card machine, we were asked if we were adding a tip which felt a bit rude especially as we had been left waiting so long.We would have been much more lenient if they remained busy the whole time we were waiting however we waited while they went from a full restaurant to only 3 tables at which our server was clearly looking for things to do but serve us.And also would have been more lenient if other tables appeared to have any of the same issues which they did not, they all appeared to have good service. As such with the waiting we missed our cinema viewing despite leaving ourselves 2 hours in which to eat which would have been plenty without the wait

Wagamama is one of those safe places to eat, it's a chain, you know what you are going to get and there is not a lot else to say about that. However this Waga vist had a stand out star Ben who was new to the team. Super polite, very helpful and had already got the menu numbers in his head. Ben made all the difference to a standard meal and elevated it to a more memorable dinner.

Waitress said that the kitchen insisted the eggs had to be cooked through "for safety".Do you not buy eggs that are safe to be eaten soft? FSA issues guidance on how to safely serve eggs soft cooked (and even raw) in restaurants.Do you not follow this guidance?

Gorgeous setting. Service was lovely. Food was fine. Felt very uncomfortable there's no option to have food arriving together, even as a special request.

Fast service, lovely food. Very perceptive staff, understood our needs without even asking i.e.crayons and paper to keep the kids entertained

Lovely staff, the location is amazing. Food is delicious but shame the 4 stuff we ordered didn't come together - got first main, 5 minutes after one side, then second side and about 5 minutes later the second main so by that time my main was coldStaff later came to pick up the plates which we weren't finished with...We will be coming again, hopefully with food arrives together

Situated in beautiful old buildings within Royal William Yard near marina with outstanding view of the sound (see photos). Food simply devine & Buddha shaped green beer bottles, plus free Green Tea really lovely. Recommend the Firecracker curry if like a little spice. Partitions on each table & face masks must be worn to enter until seated. Toilets on site (including accessible disabled toilets). Suitable for younger children too.
