Lovely food, good service. Pub and toilets very clean. Nice relaxing environment! Definitely will visit again! I had the chicken tikka with garlic bread

·

Cheap Drinks & Good Atmosphere Only Issue For Us Was When We Arrived There Wasn't Many Empty Tables & We Asked For The Table We Found To Sit At To Be Cleaned And The Women Told Us To Ask Another Member Of Staff As She Was Too Busy But Apart From That It Was Nice

·

Even more disappointing than I expected. No steak available for steak club on a Tuesday? Not a good look, what next? No curry tomorrow? Also no BBQ sauce for my second choice burger, maybe some supply chain issues? Wonder what might be causing that...

·

Always love a good Wetherspoons, great for cheeky drinks with friends and always a lovely atmosphere. Foods pretty good too! the staff are so kind. Massive venue as well, a little section turns into a little dance floor around 8/9pm best of both worlds!

Makes a refreshing change to Walk into a Spoons and not find empty plates on every other table. (My local one doesn’t know how to clear tables) Union Rooms however, seem to have the right manager running the joint. Greeted at the bar by a happy face, clean, neat and tidy bar, had a steak and it was spot on. Work away a lot and tend to go for a steak in Beefeaters and the like and I gotta say it, spoons to a brilliant steak for the money. Came out hot and was cooked the way I like it.Steak, peas, chips and mushroom along with a pint of Guinness for £11. Can’t knock that and can’t knock the venue. Was a Tuesday afternoon around 5:30pm and just starting to Buble with people coming out of work. Nice bit of background music. Really can’t fault the place with the price you pay.

Could do with a lift. Carpets looking a bit grubby etc. Tons of dishes piled high next to the coffee machine. In fact, ran out of coffee cups when we ordered. However, the staff are always polite and cheerful and seem on the go all the time.

·

Really decent food, drinks are very well priced also; however on a Friday/Saturday night sometimes it can take up to 40 minutes to either have you drinks brought to the table or even in the queue. There have been times where I've paid for drinks and left as it's taken so long it's over gone other plans. Other than that they're pretty good.Sometimes the staff look at you like 'not another customer' which is fair enough but poor service

·

Never get any food from here, it's a scam.Look at the photo below - this is how many chips I got when I ordered. Then it was impossible to get the attention of a waitress because even though I called out she kept ignoring me, so I ate the food before it got cold and finally a waiter was nearby who was nice enough to speak to me said there was nothing he could do about it.I decided to give the benefit of the doubt, and ordered a dessert and a guiness - the dessert was tiny compared to what it was like before and to add insult to injury the guiness was far too bitter. This has been several times in a row now where I have either had my order served too late, the drink has tasted bad, the order went to the wrong table (which happened this time) or I got a small portion of something.I recommend training your staff properly and making sure they do a good job. This is the last time I will be coming here for a while. To be honest everybody shouldn't come here considering who runs this chain of pubs and how badly he treats his staff and how he helped realise Brexit.

We ate here twice.Firstly for dinner. The food was lovely and as a spoons, it was cheap. The staff were so lovely no faults. The second time we ate breakfast, and again the staff was lovely, kind.Food was good and cheap.Place was so clean even the toilets, which in spoons are usually not.

·

Price was fair for the food which arrived quite quickly after ordering, unfortunately the drinks didn't. I enjoy a drink with my food and after eating half my dinner before it went cold and asking 2 separate members of staff the drinks finally arrived nearly 15 min after the food. Other wise would have been 4 stars
