West Park Chippy in Plymouth

We always drive past and see a long queue outside, usually a sign of a great place, so decided to pop in and get something. Well we definitely werent disappointed, the staff were polite and fast and the food was great, the spicy spuds were probbaly the best I have had in Plymouth.

Fresh well cooked cod & lovely crispy chips. Not too greasy & great portion sizes.

Have always had good fish and chips here but today the chips had definitely been reheated not fresh. Wasn’t able to notice until I got them home and unwrapped them. Fish looked half the usual size, thin and dry and swimming in oil in the takeaway dish.

First rate meal, lovely staff who were so friendly and helpful. Definitely rate this very very highly. Thanks

Normally it's fine there but I guess greed got the better of them. Ordered reg chips, cod and curry sauce. Chips and sauce were fine but the fish was tiny and thin and because of that it was over done too. It's like they halfed a normal portion. I won't be returning...

The prices went up and the food quality has gone dsown in both that cafe and chip shop.The cafe breakfast has been awful the last 2 times. The eggs were unedable and the hash browns where over cooked and brown inside. Cans are now £1.20 and they are not included in an option with the breakfast deal.Such a shame for a place that all my staff go too . All experienced the same recently . The portions of the fish and chip shop has gone down too.

Always good, sometimes excellent-especially the fish. Batter is thin and crispy. Chips good, but could be crispier. Very efficient and friendly service, highly recommended.

Just simply the best chippy in Plymouth. Great choice of food, cooked to order. Obviously. But there’s sometimes a chap outside with a walkie talkie who calls your order ahead if there’s a queue. What a great idea. Lovely staff. Well priced. And let’s not forget their… SPICEY SPUDS! Nom!

Always very tasty and good value. Love there home made cheese burgers and the potato suprise is out of this world. I always call them to place my order as this can reduce your waiting time depending on day and time. The haddock is amazing too.
