Whitleigh Green Fisheries in Plymouth

I always get spring rolls and chips- always fresh and hot.

I ordered a regular cod and chips, it was enough to feed two people and it was delicious.

Probably the best chippy I have been to for battered cod. Much prefer here over the 'top rated' chippies in Plymouth such as harbourside, Cornwall street fish bar and westhoe fryers. Staff are also very friendly

This is the been best fish chip shop in my time Always lovely and fresh food, and very polite service.

The sausage was ok and the fish so so very watery the chips are a different matter some were soggy some had raw potato and crunched when you bit into it and that was not due to them being crispy. Woul not go here again also on the door it says Chinese but they don't seem to sell that inside so I assume it's because the people cooking are Chinese. It's a real shame as looking for a good local fish and chip shop and this is not it.

Not worth 1 star. I will never go there again! My battered sasauge came with no batter and didn't taste good. The curry sauce was like water with curry favouring. Chips had a powdery after taste sensation. Also I reckon the vinegar is watered down, due to there was no taste of it. It is a waste money

Had Whitleigh chippy for almost 10 years now I cannot fault it one bit. Everythings cooked freshly and too perfection. Not to mention the curry sauce is bomb! Staff are always polite.
