Look, we only popped in for afternoon coffee and cake. Let's talk food and drink first and then explain why it's only three stars. Coffee was great. Blueberry muffins probably couldn't be bettered. The sad fact is the two stars are lost simply because the staff, and there are plenty of them, have zero interest in this business. We were sat down and left. We had to call someone over to ask us what we wanted. A young waiter was placing a knife on a knapkin of the six places of a large round table while we looked at him. When we called him, he said "oh alright, hang on a minute" and continued to set the empty places. Café latté and flat white, two blueberry muffins. Simple. Cakes come. Delicious. No sign of the coffee. Looked over at the espresso machine in the kitchen area. The lady was placing freshly washed cups on its top. Odd I thought. I called over to a waitress. She would go and find out. Turns out the coffees were made but sitting there. Nobody was going to bring them over until I had asked. When a young man did, he asked who wanted the latté? That was me. The coffees were both nice. But they looked the same. And he was just guessing and gave me the wrong one. Don't think he really cared. Utter disinterest from a bored staff. They just wanted to chat among themselves truth be told, not have to deal with pesky customers.

Stopped here for a cup of tea and decided to stay for dinner! The food was amazing! I had the special which was seafood mac and cheese...so nice. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Even had the chocolate and hazelnut brownie with ice cream for desert! Looking forward to my next visit!

Gorgeous view of the beach..very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious

Oh my goodness, the food here was incredible! You'd think judging by the price and the 'poshness' the portions would be poncy and small but they were beautiful large plates of utterly delicious food. Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate me in my wheelchair. Would definitely go back!

Smallish carpark for about 70 cars which is busy in the summer but it's right on the beach. Three electric bbq on the promenade and a very good restaurant. Worth a visit if you can get a space especially in the summer

Stopped for a quick bite and ended up spending 2 hours just lounging on the patio, watching the world pass by.The food was lovely (I'd recommend the fish & chips), the service very good and the views stunning. It's a bust restaurant but worth the wait. This has become my new favourite South Coast beach :)

·

Good service and delicious food! Only downfall is the staffing chef issue so we only had a small menu range but overall lovely and great views!

What a find. We took a walk from Bournemouth to Poole along the beach path. My good lady hurt her foot so we thought we would stop for a coffee. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We sat indoors as it was a tad puffy outside. The place was very clean and nicely laid out. We decided to try out the special cheese cake. Wow, what a shocker, it was a deconstructed cheese cake. It was more like a posh Eaton Mess. I can assure you that every mouthful was amazing.1st class service, 1st class food and drink.
