I visited probably at the busiest time of day. With just one staff member on duty. The person who did her best was polite and greeted me as nothing was going to stress her out. Another staff member came on shift and my tea cake and coffee was brought promptly. Good helping of butter and a pot of jam accompanied my large coffee. Price was responsible.

Lovely drink and bit of cake, the cookies and cream slice was amazing! The toilets where a bit dirty/toilet paper and water on the floor so would likely avoid using these is I return again.

We got 3 hot chocolate drinks and tea with some food. Service was good, the food was okay, but the hot chocolates taste is not chocolatey enough… like Milo but made with a scoop less.Good location, comfy seats… then there’s the resident spider. 😅 Will be visiting again so hopefully I can update this review.

Nice cup of tea Saturday (not sure how much because it was bought for me) and a Turmeric latte on Sunday. Coffees seem to be slightly cheaper than Caffe Nero, but both are very similar in quality. Amy is a good asset to the business 👏

Wonderful atmosphere, cozy but airy, busy but not overbearing, fantastic cake! Love it.

I absolutely LOVE Coffee#1, BUT...can't they (and many others, too) PLEASE, PLEASE dry the trays before they stack them ready for customer use? It's sooo annoying! Anyway, rant over, but really great coffee, cakes, toasties, lovely staff, clean loos, etc.

Love having coffee here with the added bonus of bringing my huskies with me and they get a free treat everytime 🤗

Pros: Good coffee, tasty panini's, free wifi and relax ambient. Cons: Seems always understaff, had to clean table by myself from previous customer's mess. Seems cleaning is only done randomly between customers. Table with fresh coffee stains, stained cutleries.

Terrible! Was in Poole this afternoon and thought I'd head to this store for a coffee. Closed! Mid-afternoon when it's supposed to be open until 6pm!Was in a few weeks ago and there appeared to be one poor girl working the whole store by herself.Honestly, I used to enjoy going in here when Dan was the manager, but it has gone drastically downhill since he left!A few of the old girls are still there, and I always get friendly service from them, but apart from that...The new manager seems completely disconnected, he doesn't seem to know how to handle a customer facing role. I have witnessed him being downright rude to customers in the past, and that's if he's serving at all, instead of perched at the end of the counter. Dress code is super lax, sports sweat shorts worn by a manager! I've never come across such a thing in my life, and I've been in the hospitality trade for a few decades.I just think I won't bother in future, and I'm not the only regular (ex-regular) that feels this way. With the host of amazing independents sprouting up in Poole, this store needs to do more to keep hold of their customers.

Always have a really nice time here; the staff are really lovely every time I come, and Les the manager always makes beautiful latte art on my hot beverages! Really nice selection of baked goods as well, definitely my favourite coffee shop to sit in or take out :)
