Daniels Fish and Chips in Poole

Staying at the Haven holiday park on route to Guernsey and really fancied fish and chips after seeing not great reviews of the on site chippy. Fish and chips were absolutely delicious, the batter was so light and crisp and no grease at all! I often avoid fish and chips for this exact reason but these were perfect for us! Great portion sizes too!

Was recommended Kings when we moved to the area. Best gluten free fish and chips around, crisp batter, full of flavour and not greasy like other places. We always look forward to our visit. Freshly cooked whilst you wait.

It was ok, the food is expensive and the fish was too oily. It served the purpose because we got in and was too tired to go anywhere else. If they can take out the excessive oil in the fish, and make the portion just that tad bit more, then it can easily achieve 5*.

Amazing fish&chips!! The food wasn't greasy at all and all freshly cooked. Great light and crispy batter and the chips are definitely the best we have had, fresh and crispy! Kids enjoyed their cheese burger and chicken nuggets too. the shop is very clean and staff are friendly. One of the best memory of our holiday! Hundred percent recommend!!!

We normally go elsewhere for fish and chips, but at 5:30 on a Saturday evening, everywhere else was busting at the seams with customers. Anyway, we thought we'd give them a try. To our amazement, they were empty and we were served instantly. In the 15 minutes we were in there, there was only one other customer. Now it all makes sense!Old oil (stank), small and tasteless portions. The cod was probably not cod either. Very disappointed. 1 star is too good.

Large cod and standard chips, great. Best chips ever and very good fish. Nice clean shop and pleasant staff.

Highly disappointing !Over priced and under delivered…Large Cod was a slim fillet , flavourless and no flakes, mush inside poor batter and as for the Homemade Tartare sauce DO NOT BOTHER !JUST MAYONNAISE AT £1.40 a pot …Returning for refund …

Very disappointed with our fish and chip dinner. My friend treated me and we sat overlooking Lake Pier.The chips were frozen ones, not fresh, and very greasy. IMHO the oil was well past its cooking life. The fish was bland.Over £14 for two people to have a fish and chip take out with average size pieces of fish. You might think, well that's not to bad. If you'd seen what greeted us when we opened them up around the corner at Lake Pier, you'd have said, ooh to bad 😔Michael.

These fish and chips were definitely yummie! Walking a short distance to sit at the seaside was an added bonus
