Great fish and chips and better value than others in Poole

Just tried here for the first time and it won't be the last!Really lovely light flakey cod and fluffy chips cooked fresh while we waited.Kids menu perfect size for my 3 year old and nice to see real fish on a kids menu rather than processed stuff.Quick chat to the owner who has had it for 2 months. He's made some real changes so if you've had a bad experience before please come and try him again.5* hygiene rating, it is spotless. We will definitely be back.

Recently changed hands and changed name we were really impressed. The shop seems a little cleaner and fresher, the staff were good, the food was great and the portions were huge! They also threw in some extra sides which were much appreciated. Will definitely be revisiting.

·

Excellent battered cod. Chips were good but inconsistent with more small hard chips than I prefer. Recommended as this was a niggle only..

·

Amazing gluten free fish and chips. A gluten free fryer is used for all gluten free orders and the portions are of an ample size.

·

New owners. Food was lovely and freshly cooked. Clean shop. Don't know if they do lunchtime specials anymore as doesn't say. Also doesn't say if they do OAP smaller fish and chips

Fantastic chippy. Coeliac friendly gluten free and dairy free fish and chips from their dedicated fryer is absolutely delicious. A new favourite!

·

Amazing chip shop. Freshly cooked while we waited (or you can order online or phone ahead). So tasty and is the best chip shop around (we don't live near by we live a 15/20 min drive away) but totally worth it and still piping hot when we get home

Arrived at about 5.45pm & received our fish & chips at 6.10pm. 25mins wait.🤔. Young girls serving doing their best but had to wait for at least 10 mins for chips to be cooked as not enough to fulfil my order , surely they should keep an eye on how many chips are left & keep them cooking continuously especially at tea time 5-6pm 🤔. The fryer how was in charge looked as miserable as sin & no customer people skills so much so I felt sorry for the girls & felt my custom didn't matter to him . This chip shop as recently changed hand & in my opinion for the worst. When it was fishcakes it was a lovely chips shop & lovely food . I will definitely think again before returning.

Absolutely lovely food. Chips were amazing! Fish was moist and batter was beautifully crispy, best I've had in a long time, and I'm very fussy about my fish and chips. Definitely the place to go! Totally recommend!
