Disorganied and tiny stingy portion. If you’re going to charge almost £7 for some ‘loaded chips’ there should be more than about 15 chips in the box. Chips cost literally pence to make, just give a proper portion. Ran out of napkins. Rubbish tiny forks that are useless for eating and break. Dozy staff. Slow. Would not return and would not recommend!

As a family of fish and chip fans we decided to have a fish supper on the quay this afternoon and were very disappointed with our order. We Ordered 2 standard cod and chips and a kids portion, when it arrived I opened the boxes and the 2 standard cod were just 2 kids pieces laid on top of a measly portion of chips. When I asked the counter staff she informed me they were out of standard so she’d given me 2 smaller bits instead, just as I witnessed several good looking battered fillets being put in the hot box to wait for other customers. She didn’t care to offer any alternative so it was take it or leave.I wish I’d left it.The fish fillets were very thin and hard to eat as it was over done and hard around the edges, the chips were a mix of half decent ones and scrappy ends that were inedible. The chips portion size was a joke, it was barely enough to cover the bottom of the tray. Even so, due to the poor quality 50% of the total meal went in the bin, even the lads favourite dinner went 1/2 un eaten. We live locally so it’s disappointing to experience a quay attraction selling such underwhelming food.Outlets in prime locations such as this should be putting out the best possible food for locals and visitors. Unfortunately I wont be trying Harley’s again, there are far better fish and chips within walking distance, based on our experience, I’d suggest if you’re reading this….go elsewhere.

We waited 45 minutes for tepid and disappointing fish and chips! No sense of urgency from anyone behind the counter. Possibly the worst fish and chip shop in the country, belive me it's not worth the wait.

Visited the restaurant on a Sunday and apart from one other table it was empty when we arrived. What I found shocking is that most of the tables hadn't been cleared. The server was sitting in one of the booths when we arrived and apart from when she took our order and brought our food over, she remained in the booth. For the whole of our visit all the tables remained dirty, she may have been doing something while she was sat there but surely a clean restaurant should come before anything else. It wasn't very inviting to see all the mess left behind from previous customers let alone be sat amongst it.To be honest I couldn't wait to get out of there. Think I'll stick to the takeaway next time.

Undercooked, blanched chips! Soggy and tasteless...Maybe when you've learnt that cooked chips should be brown and crispy you will get better reviews! We all know the cost of living is going up but 2 chips and curry sauce nearly £9, your taking the kids!!!

Everything is made to order which means it's hot when you receive it but very slow service and the staff aren't at all engaging. Very small portions, I dread to think what a small would've actually been! Fish did taste good and was clearly a good quality but let down by the batter. Even though it was lightly battered it was still dense and heavy, with no parts of the batter crisped around the outside.Overall, I would not recommend this place unless you are only visiting the quay side and want to sit looking at the boats.

Have enjoyed fish and chips from this shop many times.Today not so good.Really did not mind the half an hour wait. But when meal produced very disappointing.Soggy chips , needed more cooking time.Far too much thick batter on fish.Dripping with oil or grease.z

Order 2x sausage and chips took 20 minutes to get the food for takeaway, when only 2 people in the que!! Also when got the chips very disappointed that they were very undercooked not the standard I would expect from a premium fish and chip shop

Tried their fish and chips based on the reviews. Have to say they lived up to it - nicely cooked fish with a light and crispy batter. Chips were very good too. Almost as good as our favourite - the chippy in Margate seafront.🍟

Really enjoyed the fish and chips, but a bit disappointed that nobody told me how long id be waiting for. Considering they had a queue, it would have been good to get a small ETA. The guy on till was a bit weird to some customers but overall tasty.
