Amazingly authentic food, beware this not western watered down thai , hot is HOT and everything is so fresh

This was an enjoyable meal, I had the red Thai curry which was delicious. When we went they were doing a set lunch menu (although I think that may be discontinued due to prices rising), which made lunch a very reasonable price. In the day time it's not the most scenic view from the restaurant but that only really makes any difference if you happen to sit in a window seat.

We love Isan Thai! I could easily finish my review saying just that!Takeaway is our weekly treat and one night when I don't have to cook. We often order from Isan Thai just because the food is consistently delicious and service always amazing.I am quite confident in saying that I might be addicted to the Massaman Curry and Duck Spring Rolls...Ordering is ever so easy, you can choose if you'd like to pay over the phone or on collection and it is always ready on time.We visited for a proper dinner as well and the service was flawless.We are really glad to find such a gem and can only wish Phil and Pornthip a lot of success in the yeas to come!

Ordered our food an hour and ten mins later we called and lady said would be 10 mins 25 mins later still no food , then manager called back very polite butsaid our order hadn't gone through even though money had left my account, manager took order again which arrived 30 mins later although gave us a free dish bit rice we ordered was wrong and stirfry was very watery , such a shame as always been so good in the past

Great atmosphere, nice and quite. Brilliant selection of beers on tap and really delicious food. The staff there were really friendly and great and meal sizes were perfect. Thai is always a little more expensive but for 2 people it was very reasonably priced. Will 100% be returning as I had a great time. Parking is perfect just across the road at the civic centre.

We have been enjoying takeaways from Isan Thai for some time now. They are by far and away the best Thai takeaway south of London. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and they are worth every penny. Felt I had to post a review this evening, having just enjoyed one of the best Green Thai curries I have ever had. Hope to try out the restaurant itself soon now that everything is back open.

This was a 5 star experience through and through. Me and my boyfriend were running very late after a day out in Bournemouth and called the restaurant to ask when the kitchen was closing, they said 30 mins but accepted us anyways. We got there and was warmly welcomed, we were not rushed at all despite how late it was. We ordered crispy squid and tempura prawns, that were cooked perfectly. Then we ordered a red Thai curry and green thai curry, both hot and boy was it hot! It rare to find a place that actually serves spicy food when you ask, the curry portion was very large and it was ALL delicious. Even their toilet/ washroom was very well decorated which I appreciated the little details. The service was exceptional, the ladies serving us were so genuinely lovely and helpful. I wish I lived in Bournemouth so I could go again!

Been eating here for years and never once been disappointed! Whether dining in or having it as a takeaway I have never had a bad thing to say. Inside the ambiance is great, the portion sizes are more than fair and Phil and Pornthip are lovely. Eating at home, delivery has never been late and food is always as described and piping hot. Excellent food. Very fresh. Incredibly authentic.

Enjoyed our evening at Isan Thai. The food was good and the service was good. It was quite quiet on a Saturday night. Friendly staff allowed me to take home a doggie bag too. Would visit again.
