Old fashioned type of pub, which is not a bad thing. However not remarkable either. And little sign of gluten free ales, sadly.

Wouldn't let us park a scooter (as in a non motorized fold up scooter) inside the premises) barman said the landlord wouldnt allow it. Explained it was worth roughly 1k and we wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it outside (as asked). Apparently this was non-negotiable and we wouldn't be served while the scooter was inside the bar. Barman couldn't explain why this was the policy. Locals only kind of dive, head to the Antelope or Rope and Anchor if you're not a regular!

Great place with good beer 👌🏻👌🏻 Landlord was excellent - a nice spot to watch the rugby. Recommend the homemade cake!

Oh my days what a treat.. not your normal place for an Afternoon tea, definitely amazing with a decent Prosecco (optional).. food was incredible.. so fresh, beautifully homemade and more than enough.. (we couldn’t finish it), plenty of tea…really is a great find..need to book ahead, communication is very good, so helpful..Thank you..

Dropped in whilst on a weekend break in Poole. A nice old pub with a good range of Badger Brewery beers. Friendly welcome. We both had the pies with mash, one steak and ale and one chicken, ham and leek. Enjoyable.

Lovely pub which does a great Sunday roast dinner. I'm Gluten free and they even made a 2nd course just for me!!

Popped in on the off chance of a Sunday Roast, and were treated to a delicious 2 course roast dinner for less than £11 a head. The portion was a good size, and we nearly asked for a straw for the gravy. Apart from the wonderful food, the atmosphere was fantastic, friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended ***** 5 stars

Friendly olde worlde pub with very good pub food. Recommend the fish and chips, kitchen staff very accommodating with gluten free options. If you are looked after by Jake he will look after you. Has a brilliant jukebox. It's away from the more shouty quayside bars so attracts a loyal clientele. Worth visiting. M

Super fish and chips, my wife had the egg and ham and that looked even better. Brilliant garden at the back. Lost a star because I had to keep my foot on the umbrella during the whole stay.
