Papa Johns in Poole

I love Papa Johns so much but recently the delays in getting your order is just insane. I rang over 1hour after ordering and apparently "the order had only just come through". Tonight, similar thing but "it's really busy sorry..". Took them 3 calls to finally answer the phone. They also forget dips that I have specifically paid extra for.I don't understand what has happened to this branch but it's really sad.

Absolutely the worst delivery in Poole ordered at 11am for a 5.45pm delivery and ended up cancelling the order at 7pm after ruining my sons 10th birthday party with no food to feed the invited guests then told I had to wait 1hr in the shop for a refund disgusting service will never use puppa johns again

Never again.Not the first time we’ve been let down by this branch, however thought we’d give them another go.The pizza toppings were uneven to the point there was barely any cheese on one half of the pizza.They delivered completely different dips to our order because they had run out of our preferred choice with no mention of this when ordering.When called they offered to refund the value of the dips only.

After a long day at work, I thought I'd treat myself to pizza. Preordered at 4.30pm for 6.30pm. According to the online tracker, it left for delivery at 6.30 (my house is a 4 minute drive). It eventually arrived at 7.20 (nearly an hour later) and was both burnt and almost stone cold, basically inedible. Incidentally, when I phoned at 7 to check what was happening, I was told that I hadn't ordered anything (and half-heartedly offered a refund if I had). They clearly have no idea what they're doing. Avoid.

I've got to admit, Papa John's have always delivered in quality of pizza and service but recently both the quality of pizza and service has dropped off considerably. I ordered last Sunday at 12.15 and the tracking website advised the pizza had been delivered at 13.05 but it hadn't! I rang store and was advised it was enroute and would be 10 mins. 10 mins later I received a call from a delivery driver who could barely string a sentence together advising he was outside. I looked outside and assured him that he wasn't. After 5 mins of deliberating, I realised he was clearly on the wrong road and due to the poor understanding of English I decided to go and find him. Living in a flat, I had to walk around to the next close where I presumed he was. Sure enough he was there, frantically pointing at the receipt when it clearly states my address, not the address he was at. Anyhow, I took the pizzas and walked home, by this point the pizzas were not very warm anymore and although still tasty, they didnt have the quality to them like normal, such as not cut properly, toppings thrown on and looked like a dog's dinner. The garlic sticks were hard like the bread had gone off or gone stale. All this for £20 is not really acceptable in terms of stress, value and quality. I have emailed requesting a refund but am yet to hear back. Unfortunately for Papa John's I will go back to pizza hut in future.

Pizza was great, no issues at all but the staff were lazing about in another room and didn't bother to pay attention to incoming orders on the screen thus leading to 20-40 minute delays. We got some extra dip as an apology though so it's all good but at least try to check the screen once in a while

Super helpful, couldn’t do enough to accommodate a last minute order for 6 large pizza’s. All delivered piping hot, on time and with no fuss. Thank you guys 😎👌🏻*great pizza too 😂

Where polite, app told us pizza had been delivered when hadn't, we gave them 10 minutes before calling up, the pizza finally arrived about 10 minutes after this, however without the sides and desserts we had ordered, the delivery man then went and got them to make the sides, he was very polite and apologetic, however by the time we received are sides the pizza was cold. This was the first time ordering from Papa John's as we normally order from dominoes we were very unimpressed especially as this was a birthday takeaway, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as this seems to not be a isolated incident, when I checked my receipt they had also taken £3 for charity which shocked me because I had not opted in to this, I wouldn't have minded this but would have picked a better charity! All in all won't be ordering from them again! Will stick with dominoes where we have never had any issues with, we just wanted to try a new place! STAY AWAY!

Tastes like a kebab shop pizza. Wanted to try something other than dominos, and it’ll be the last time we do.Also it seems as though the customer knows more than the staff. 1/10 would not recommend. Even if you have covid and can’t taste anything.

Ordered for collection, apon arrival was told that they haven't received my order and that it doesn't exist even tho I have proof of order and a receipt.Was told there where not interested and given an email to contact, told I would receive a refund in 3-5 working day (that was a lie).Also worth noteing the guy who was on the screen and handling food went from one to the other without washing there handsHalf an hour later after I return home I received a call saying I ordered it to the wrong address.....They had taken my order out for delivery to the wrong address even tho I ordered it for collection and was told I needed to collect it.Once I arrived to pick up my pizza it was STONE COLD as they did not recook it after THERE ERROR.still awaiting a reply form there support team on the matter, I dont expect one as it has been over a week nowDo not order from here the employees will do anything to not help you and do not care for customer service.I will not be Ordering with papa johns again any time soon which is a shame as I use to alot
