Great sandwiches and I buy the multi seeded brown bread regularly here at Ashley Cross. It’s understandable that you have to queue for sandwiches et al but there could be a slicker system in just buying bread. It still gets 5 stars from me as the staff all work their socks off and very efficient.

Great coffee and pastries with lovely customer service. Real passion for taste and service. Would highly recommend

Very good coffee and a great selection of cakes; I even picked up a beget for my tea - the good life

I love coming back to this place because the stuff is always so nice and they make the best coffee! Love the sourdough and the variety!

Super coffee. Spoilt for choice if you're after cakes and rolls. Great spot to meet friends.

Had an amazing experience at this Patisserie, the doughnut was out of this world and the fresh baked loaf was gone in 2 days 🤣🤣.I asked for a Latte with Oat milk expecting the normal look you get when asking however I was well impressed when the young lady called Jessica told me it was her favourite and went on to make me the best one I've ever tasted.Whilst we paid more than we would have normally it was well worth it, definitely coming back soon. 😎

The croissants are not croissants. The French would be ashamed. They are soggy in the middle, soaked in butter, stogie, soggy, heavy. The bread is kept for 2-3 days and sold at full price.Sandwiches are good - but very expensive. There is no customer service - in any of Mark Bennet's bread shops - they are not really patisseries (again, insult to the French). Seem to be bitter divorced women looking for the next wealthy catch, or young girls talking about glitter and the weekend. Often left after waiting 10 x minutes for a coffee..! It shows there is a need for quality sandwich shops with good service in the area. These are not quite there..shame

Absolutely brilliant as always! Love Mark Bennetts and my regular favourite store is the one based at Penn Hill. Whenever I have a sandwich it's done FAST and is just perfect. The croissants and other baked goods are just sublime, today when I went in I was served by two lovely young ladies called Jess they were nothing but kind polite and helpful and efficient and was nice to hear the back and forth between the girls and the man working. Was told that there may be a wait for sandwich for 10 minutes, but there was a range of premade sandwiches on offer.Unfortunately the one I wanted wasn't premade, but the man making the sandwiches said he'd be quick and get it made for me. Less than a minute later was made and handed to me now that's what I call customer service!Came back in the afternoon for some of the heavenly bread. Server by the man that made the sandwiches he was really helpful and informative on what the different breads were. Bought more than I intended.

Fantastic bread - best around. However the young staff here are just plain rude and do not care about their customers. Talk about attitude. I had to wait 30 minutes in my lunch break for a stale sandwich because they wouldn't stop chatting with each other. If it wasn't for the delicious loaves I wouldn't be going back.

Very nice food and staff really friendly and helpful. Parking was a little tricky as disabled but staff helped me find a spot.
