Pulcinella in Poole

What a brilliant restaurant, great service, great atmosphere, delicious food! Our waitress was so helpful with my children's food allergies, they provided really lovely meal for each of them, even though they have multiple food allergies. I highly recommend you check them out. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Definitely the best Italian I've eaten in since lockdown.Don't know too much about the management/owners but they've hit upon the right mix of price (very reasonable), & quality (very good/authentic), and so much better than the large pizza/pasta chains which swamp every high street.I liked the food and wine and want to go back again. Perhaps a revisit might even cause an adjustment to 5star status, which I wouldn't normally give following just one visit.

Fantastic food, always fresh and tasty, real italian cuisine, wide choice of pizzas, excellent customer service. Very cosy place where you can eat well and feel like at home. Highly recommended. The best italian restaurant in Dorset.

Lovely meal last night.Visiting Poole for a few days , had a little issues getting back into our accommodation, very friendly neighbours came to our rescue and one suggested we visit the restaurant.So glad we did, the service was exceptional as only one member taking orders and the restaurant was full.We had not booked, offered a table straight away, drink order taken, given time to look at the food menu, order taken and food arrived, fresh, hot , very tasty and good portions. The price charged was worth every penny. We left feeling full, welcomed and valued.I would definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant if visiting Poole or a local who hasn’t tried it yet.GREAT PLACE!

How have I not heard of this place until now?? This is hands down the BEST Italian food I’ve had in the UK.. ever!! Just wow! Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep coming back. Unable to upload photos, as the food was all gone every time before I remembered to take one 😁 Thank you! A+++

Booked for dinner here last night for 5 of us. Absolutely lovely place, can’t believe I’ve never been before. Italian is one of my favourite cuisines and the food here was of a really high standard. Easily one of the best in Poole/Bournemouth.We all really enjoyed our food and the staff were friendly. Great atmosphere and will definitely come again!

Booked a table over the phone for tonight's dinner - 24/07/2021Arrived on time, a friendly member of their staff asked us to pick our choice of available tables. Drinks arrived straight away, following by the delicious starters and then really tasty mains. Staff is attentive and happy to help with recommending a dishes to our preference. First time we went to Pulcinella we had the best experience! We had for starters scallops with pea and apple purée and calamari Fritti and for the main pollo al funghi (chicken with an AMAZING brandy sauce and mushrooms), and steak with peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce AMAZING! For this reason we returned and my husband had the chicken again :) and I was craving for some seafood pasta! The pasta was so full of flavour, garnished with plenty of seafood, the pasta was covered in an creamy and flavoured sauce which made the flavours more intense. We finished with some creme brûlée…It’s always busy so make sure to call and book a table. The staff is very nice and attentive and the atmosphere is very worm and welcoming and I love the little touches like the fresh flowers.
