Special day for us. The place is as just amazing, the food very tasty, the wine delicious and at the right temperature. The waiter was courteous, knowing every single item in the menu. The view was great. Thank you. For sure we will be visiting again!P.S: thanks for the surprise ‘ Anniversary ’ desert. My wife was delighted ( by your gesture and by the taste ).

Very nice. Nice restaurant, well presented plates, high quality taste and although I thought the plates were too small, after a starter and a main I felt full and had to wait for a while to make room for desert. They have a dairy free menu, if you have an intolerance, which is a bonus. But I’m used to navigating through the menus and coping. It’s probably worth using if your intolerance is more severe or you have diary allergy to milks proteins. A well thought out addition to the menu set up.Im sorry I didn’t post a picture of the chocolate pudding with blackcurrant sorbet which was delicious. I had already eagerly ruined a picture opportunity by attacking it with a spoon as soon as it landed on the table.Surprised by a very nice white wine called “Rick Stein’s white burgundy 2022”. Nice enough that we ordered more.Very large wine selection which isn’t possible to experience all of it.Worth ironing a nice shirt and getting a little dressed up to make an evening treat here a little more special.

The food is amazing. Best fish I've had. Lovely desserts and great veggie options too. The only reason to lose a star is the service. The staff were friendly and helpful but it was so slow. Spoiled an otherwise awesome visit

What a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Best fish and chips I've ever had!! I would also highly recommend the sushi starter, which was out of this world!!! Would love to visit again

Dinner Rick Stein SandbanksLove going to this restaurant when we're down this way.Their Harbour view restaurant is modern with spectacular views.StartersScallopsTempura Vegetables, were lovely with a very light batter.MainsRoast Troncon of Wild TurbotDover SoleDe-boned at the table.DessertsBaked cheesecakeHot Chocolate FondantThe food was nicely presented and very tastyA pleasurable visit yet again. It's a very busy restaurant so make sure you book. The prices seem to have crept up a little from our last visit. It's more affordable to go for their set lunch £27.95If your staying local they have a complimentary pick up and or drop off home in their Mercedes Benz at weekends.Thumbs up if you find this useful.

A very warm and engaging welcome from the gentlemen as we entered and great service all round and very thoughtful to seat us looking out on the bay.We had Fresh oysters, hake and the halibut plus fish and chips that were excellent.A thoughtful plate to say 'Happy Anniversary' was a really kind touch. Why only 4 stars? To be handed your coats back at the end of a lovely evening with 'here you are' whilst turning away and not to enquire if we had enjoyed our experience and no 'good night' with a surly attitude is odd as if we were an annoyance(The young person requires a refresher on front of house training and guidance) and not what I expect from one of Rick's establishments. As before the gentlemen who greeted us was thoroughly pleasant and extremely professional. We've dined at least 5/6 times at the Padstow Seafood restaurant plus stayed there & at the cafe and also ate at the Fish & Chip restaurant and each time it's been brilliant.I notice other reviewers mentioning the cost -it is pricey but we all know the challenges the whole industry and supply chain are having plus you are in Sandbanks! In conclusion, the food and service is very good plus the view is a wonderful bonus.

Rick Stein was amazing. I love that the waiter that served us later drove us home as part of Rick Stein hospitality in a brand new Mercedes S Class. The food was very good - I liked that the sashimi wasn't as clean cut as a Japanese restaurant giving it a rawness, and the Red Roe on the scallops was a lovely touch. The wild Turbot was good but the portion small for £42.An overall very good experience. Thank you.

I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve hoped to be swept away by all the greatness that goes along with the Rick Stein brand. The food is lovely but just doesn’t quite get to ‘wow’ status which makes me doubt whether it’s worth the hefty price tag for the normal a la carte menu. On my second trip, I tried the set menu which is more reasonably priced at £35 per person. Starter (fish soup) and mains (pan fried hake) were delicious but the desert was really disappointing - it was meant to be a tiramisu but the sponge was hard and the cream was runny like milk.Service can be a bit off too - it can be very busy and it can feel hard to get attention when you need it.

Me & my husband gives his mother a treat at this restaurant. We really enjoy the lovely food. They ambience of the restaurant's view facing Poole Harbour were spectacular. The good that served out were fresh, delish, friendly & helpful servers. Would be definitely back again. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍❤🌹

There is just so much to be loved at this restaurant. The view, the ambience, the service, the wine selection, the different food flavours on the menu, and the children’s menu. We could sit here all day eating, chatting, enjoying the view. However, food can be even better by ensuring that they are executed at the standard which the chef and customers are expecting. On this occasion we were served undercooked white rice and this should never have happened. It wouldn’t stop us from coming back for all the good reasons listed above and have the set menu offer but it’ll probably stop us from ordering from the full price main menu.
