Tatnam Tandorri in Poole

Asked for a phaal curry curry, nothing like it, loaded with chilli powder, low quality, was just a one-off visiting them.

Worst Indian food I have ever had in UK (OR ANYWHERE). Never order achari chicken. They take achar (pickle) mix it with ketchup and add super dry fried chicken. Just fyi this is exactly how a third rated street food kiosk prepares food in my town. I really hate kitchens which can't do achari chicken but mix achar and chicken instead simple not enlisting this dish. Their vindaloo wasnt any better. I could hardly stomach two spoons of their concoction which nevertheless came out with some very bad reaction.

Basic surroundings but great food at very reasonable price.

Arrived for a takeaway Welcomed by 5* service from a lady who was very helpful pleasant and smiley... Karis l believe Thankyou great service food was ok.. not a wow factor.. and the man in the the kitchen that brought my takeaway out to me if your going to be grumpy with no eye contact and be courtesy when handing food to customers.. Why are you working in this environment..? Again thanks to the lady in the front 5*+ service

Our first time at Tatnam Tandoori tonight but it will definately not be our last.Every item was perfect and the lemon rice was to die for. Lamb Tikka Jalfrezi, Sillary Chicken and all the accompanyments were excellent.Good prices too and maybe next time we will use the restaurant.Service was efficient and friendly.Thank you so much to everyone.Ron

Placed a £73 order and I was told 50minutes on a Saturday night. Order arrived after about 60 mins and was piping hot and tasted really nice. 5 people ordered and all said how good the food was. Recommended 👍👍

Ordered the 'sunday meal for two' for £12 collected with kurma & dupiaza as the options. It also came with rice, two papadoms, naan, and an onion salad.Cannot fault any part of the meal, or the value it represented. The meal was steaming hot on collection and clearly freshly made, the staff were polite and efficient whilst in the shop.The food was perfectly cooked; sometimes the chicken can be dry but this was fresh, moist & delicious. Both sauces were tasty and well prepared.We'll be going back here without a doubt & will sample more of the menu as I know it'll be great.

Disgusting behaviour. Ordered a meal for delivery, paid by card. Contacted the restaurant after it was 30 mins late, to be told it would be 20 mins. Called again after another 30 mins, to be told that they had already delivered. I received NOTHING, and was told that they wouldn't refund me as the delivery had been made. They are lying and have stolen £25 from me.

We had our first takeaway tonight, and we loved it! Fast service, the food was delicious, portions perfect, and the delivery driver was a big friendly giant! Definitely recommend, and we'll definitely be ordering again!

Such a shame from giving the place a 5 star review last year to a one star now will not be useing again. Not sure if have new management/owners but last 3 times have had something missing Can't seem to get a simple order right. Hour and 20 for delivery. Phoned to say about rice missing staff not bothered.to be fair food quality was ok. But lack customer service.
