The Acorn in Poole

Great service, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, only bug bear was dogs allowed to wander around, not good if your allergic to them. So put me off a bit.

Nice pub with friendly staff. Went with mates after a cycle ride. Excellent chips, this is a pub that's tucked away a bit but it's smart and roomy, well worth a visit.

Friendly staff the food was delicious, most enjoyable, staff very happy and attentive.

Took my mum for mother's day, food was lovely, pleasant service, we had a lovely lunch!

Came here for Sunday lunch last week (16th Jan) and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was 6 of us in total and everyone all said how tasty it was, food quality and the amount was great. Bar staff were very friendly and courteous. I must admit we did take a chance coming again as we didnt have a great meal last time, which was about 6 months ago and decided to give it another chance . We will definately be returning.

Bit limited on menu choices for a sunday. But was a good meal and lovely dessert.

Nice, tidy and clean pub! Huge sitting area to accommodate large numbers of crowds! Service was friendly and fast too! More menu options would be amazing!

Been twice. Once for a beer. Was OK. Didn't seem like a food pub but thought i would have a go so went again for a meal. Lovely food. Way better than I expected and 1000x better than the hungry horse in Hamworthy that did a spectacular job of poisoning my bro and ruining our long weekend.

The food was excellent and sensible prices too. Very welcoming landlord. Will definitely go back.
