Friendly staff, great pizzas and a cosy and comfortable pub atmosphere.

Great pub the couple who run it are fantastic hosts who always make you feel very welcome

We were visiting poole for the day and ended up walking past this pub and seeing the crowds inside and we could hear the music so decided to go and have a look, what a great spontaneous night it was! They had live music on, John springett who was an excellent entertainer, spent the evening dancing and drinking koppaberg ciders which were on offer! All of the staff were so friendly, will definitley be visiting again when in the area, made to feel so welcome!

Lovely pub, staff can't do enough for you. The bar is an island so you can sit anywhere in the pub and still feel a part of the pub atmosphere. Great ale, well kept, cozy feeling traditional pub

Great little pub, very freindly staff and great service. Wide variety of beers and spirits. Comfortable seating and very clean.

I'm not a local but this seemed like a great pub. It's attractive from the outside as well as inside. There was a wide selection of branded beers and ciders at fair prices. There was also an artisan pizza menu, though I can't advise because I didn't eat. If I visit Poole again, this will be where I go for a pint.

Had a couple of nice cold drinks on a hot day in their lovely courtyard. One of the best outdoor seating areas, fresh and comfortable. Beer was good, so many pubs in Poole serve a dodgy pint! And although we didn't eat, the pizzas looked great!

First time I have been here and wish I had come here ages ago. Jo the landlady cirtainly knows how to run a pub, I have drank in many pubs in the Poole area but I have to say how well the the beer is kept. Perfect temperature, clean beer lines, and basically the best pint in town, Trust me, they also have a good selection of wines and spirits. Now the inside of the pub is spacious and comfortable, it's very clean and tidy in fact spotless. Out side they have a seating area in the front, but have a lovely beer garden out the back. The pub is also Dog friendly. I have posted some pictures so please take time to view. At the end of the day I would highly recommend The Angel Poole. 100%.
