Such a lovely welcome from lady behind the bar. So appreciated, and lovely building/garden seating area. Food looks good will be back to sample.

I had their award winning British beef & riddles ale pie and I really loved it. Left me absolutely happy after enjoying the sunset in the quay. My head also loved the padding in the bathroom.

Haven't got a bad word to say about The Antelope. I stayed here for two nights following the Air BnB I was due to stay at falling through. It was a very warm welcome when I first spoke to staff right through until I checked out. The room had everything I needed, was clean and warm (the only negative being that I couldn't open the window). Breakfast was good, there was lots of choice and staff were friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic for exploring the local area and overall the room was excellent value for money.

Went with my wife from Xmas day dinner. Friendly staff and the food was excellent. Though both of us were unable to finish the main due to the quantity. I had the steak rossini which was cooked to perfection. Wife had the turkey which wasn't as dry as most turkey is. Thank-you

Very old pub so building needing a little TLC, generator type noise could be heard from our room no11 Two of our party a little unhappy with their meal BUT it was sorted out and staff made sure we were happy and they very pleasant. Breakfast good value for money, location excellent will stay again

Not a bad place, very quietly layout inside.. Recently only been in here for drinks and they cater well for that especially with so much outside seating. On the surface all looks good. What doesn't affect the experience but is interesting, by visiting the beer garden in the Kings Head next door it shows a different side; the walls and windows on that side make the (admittedly extremely old, originally built around 1465 apparently) coach house look as if it isn't as well maintained as you'd have considered a requirement and imagined from the customer facing sections.. dirty / flaking paint on windows, badly boarded up., etc- (don't think my pic from the KH garden shows it very well unfortunately). I would have hought there should be some 'duty of care' to better maintain what is I believe the oldest (KH may argue) pub (Coaching House) in Poole.

We went in with no booking and we had our dog with us and were taken straight to a table more than big enough for us.The host told us before we sat down that we would be in for a bit of a wait due to some large capacity bookings they had just sat but we were fine with that when we ordered the food wasn't expensive and turned up in around 15 minutes so not a problem there. The food was hot and very tasty, I had the Macaroni cheese and a side of chips and can highly recommend it.It's just off the Quay but we'll worth trying.

Nice garden, hospitable staff especially the Manager. We had 14 cyclists in our party and they accommodated us and all our bikes. Sadly the coffee machine was not working, some of the Group would have settled for instant if it was available, vand a breakfast had one item missing. Nice friendly pub. Seagull entertained us at the fountain, we think it was thirsty from the hot sun.
