Super nice and accomodating staff.They have welcomed our little group of nerds and allowed us to play board games and DnD. Great selection of drinks and being able to order food with the associated take away next door until the latest hours make the perfect combination of a cool and relaxed environment that provides both good food and drink. For us the Barking Cat has been a hidden gem that we have come to feel very at home in.

always a great experience in here, brilliant selection of ale and cider and the staff friendly too. oh and the catnip chips from the canton restaurant next door (served at the bar) are delicious!

Super friendly, unmatched selection of beer and cider (cask and keg lovers both well catered for). Bigger than it looks on the outside! Can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area.

Excellent ale house, plenty of room to sit or stand. Excellent choice of drinks if you enjoy the propper skilled brew. Pop in and start sampling.

Great venue, diverse selection of drinks. Pool table in backroom. Can order food from Chinese next door and eat in the venue.

The thing you want above all else in an alehouse is a good selection of great beers in top condition. With a regularly rotating selection of cask and keg ales and ciders Mark ensures this is the always the case. All of the bar staff with hard to ensure you'll find a warm, friendly and welcoming establishment that we're delighted to call ourselves regulars at. Come along and say hello.
