Another good pub gone down hill turned away because I had jogging bottoms on what a joke had to give one star but deserve none

The staff was super nice. We loved the mushy peas with the fish and chips, the fish was way too oily though for our taste. Loved the whole thing, it felt like everyone knew everyone, people just dropping by to say hi. I would go back anyway and might just order something else.

No, no, noUtter rubbish. Fish and chips. The fish was wet and watery, when questioned the waitress had a well rehearsed answer as anticipation of the complaint. We asked for the money back, which they did but they explained that it was pengasus fish. This is such a cheap option, it’s going to do more harm than good. Be real to your customers and offer quality at reasonable prices and people will come back.

Food was horrible…. Chicken hunters no taste and the meal with feathers Bad experience on this place , we ordered , when food come we just see it and leave it….May be the staff can eat something like this .👎👎👎👎👎👎

Popped in for fish and chips, and a veggie burger. Came quickly, tasted great and excellent value for money. Staff were very nice too.

Nice place to visit while wandering around the quay. Nice staff and nice menu, with very nice home cooked food (smallish portions though).It seems unfair to only give three stars (to me that means its an ok place to visit), but despite the nice staff, clean toilets and good food I would try somewhere else next time although I dont know why!And to finish,......A horse went into a pub every night for a week.The barman asked "you've been in every day. Do you think you might be alcoholic? '" I don't think I am" said the horse, then promptly vanishes from existence.You see, this is a joke about Descartes' philosophy of "I think, therefore I am", but telling you that first would be putting Descartes before the horse.

Great pub to see live music. Good range of drinks available and friendly bar staff. Enjoy. M

Lovely old building. Pub had great atmosphere with interesting decor. Manager friendly and gave good Covid information when entering. Food was ok but a little expensive considering the standard. I would not return for food but possible for a drink or to watch live music.
