The Pizza Box in Poole

Lovely place for a pizza, great service, amazing delicious food, would give this place 10 stars if I could

Sadly I can't give it zero stars for customer service. The bar itself is fine but so far I've been sat at the bar with an empty glass for 28 minutes and still counting without either of the two bartenders even making eye contact, much more interested in chatting to each other and friends at the bar. There are 9 customers so it isn't down to being busy. Whoever owns this place needs to have a serious talk to her son (one of the bartenders from overheard conversation) and the other young bartender about customer service. As for me, I won't be coming back. (By the end of this review I'm at 32 minutes and still no service)

The pizza was huge and came quickly courtesy of the impressive oven.. it was tasty and well made thanks to the chef. It's a great little place that I found just by passing through. I washed it all down with alcohol free beer (dry January and all that) my only gripe was the music playing, a medoly of cover versions of popular 70's songs didn't really match the ambiance of the place.. even Elbow or Mr Scruff would have done ;-)

What a little gem. Lovely atmosphere and great fresh tasty food. Just what pizza should be. Small and intimate. Don't tell everyone as we would never get a table.

While the food was nice I found the wait between starter and main to be unaccessibly long. People coming in after we had finished our starer were served their main before us. Added to the fact they tried to over charge us by adding drinks from another table onto our bill and then arguing amongst themselves about it, while I was stood waiting for them to resolve it. I very much doubt I will be going back again.

Great pizza served straight out of the oven! Have eaten there a few times and loved it each time.. nothing too much trouble with friendly staff..

Small, independent pizzeria offering interesting choice of traditional and alternative pizza toppings on thin base. Take away or dine in available. Drink Shack next door offers convenient location to wait if busy.

Visited first time recently - wished I'd gone sooner. Went on recommendation and 10/10 for food & service.Like the fact that its a small intimate pizza place, simple menu and lovely ambience. Smaller size pizzas available which is great if you don't have a big appetite. Will be gojng back and soon.

If you like pizza, you'll love this tiny restaurant. Their Pizzas are great. The staff are very attentive. You need to book, so as not to be disappointed. Great value money too. There is nothing not to like. Try it. Highly recommended.

Amazing pizza, owners are very friendly always talk to you, staff friendly and polite. We eat about once a week here. Can't recommend it any higher!
