The Slug and Lettuce, Poole in Poole

We went to visit Poole - Slug and Lettuce. Katy(with pink hair) was our waitress, she was nice and helpful. However the manager was very rude!! This behaviour in hospitality is not acceptable! Why she is working in the bar if she doesn't like people?!

Came here on Monday to visit a friend and the service was great! Sammie was so nice and welcoming, Kourtney cooked a banging steak! Will definitely return when I'm back in Poole!

Courtney served myself and my friends today for a bottomless brunch. She was absolutely lovely, made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. So refreshing to be served by someone who is smoking and happy to be there. Would definitely come again

I had never been to the slug and lettuce before however I was impressed by the environment. Cocktails are AMAZING food was fab. There was a young lady called Kourtney I think who really made us all feel welcome as a family , since then we have been back multiple times because of her I have never experienced such a atmosphere due to the bar staff .Thanks and see you again !

Had a nice catch up with some friends and was served by Emily. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere. They’ve got lots of great drinks to choose from, will definitely be coming back!

Popped in for lunch and a coffee. The place was clean and not very busy. Our drinks arrived very quickly but food still not delivered after 45 minutes. There were very few people in and most were only drinking. I queried the delay and staff were very apologetic and understanding. Food eventually arrived but was lukewarm and I told staff I wasn't happy. Again they were very polite, apologetic and understanding. They offered us something else to eat but we declined. They very kindly refunded the costs for the meal and coffees.Would I go there again.....hmm not sure.

I'm a hospitality dinosaur and as such a stickler for excellent service. Its been a long while since I've been lookex after as well as the wonderful Courtney here. Her cocktails are divine too! Love it here.

We visited today with our three yr old. The staff were really good and not at all bothered by the little one running about and playing with everyone. Lawrence came out from the kitchen to talk us through the menu and took our orders, he was very polite, helpful and appeared to know what he was doing and how to deal with customers. Great service all round from all the staff. And beautifully cooked steak, hot food, cold drinks.

Polite staff, cannot fault their effort, but combined with a few inexperienced members who couldn't find our table and chips that weren't cooked and half of the menu, including salt and bread were not on the menu.

Visited the Slug and Lettuce Poole with the wife for a well earned drink. Nice chilled atmosphere with cheerful attentive staff. Served by a polite young man Lawrence who was great at his job, in that he was quick to acknowledge even when I was waiting as he was serving others. Makes a change to see someone cheerful in their work. He was a credit to the establishment.Well done Slug and Lettuce Poole you will have us as return customer.
