I have never had such good service, I came in too order, only to find my bank was having issues. Despite this the owners where very understanding and helped me out.The pub is lovely inside and with the service I received I must say this is a go to place for anyone who's looking for a meal or drink in the area

We enjoyed an excellent lunch today. Sausages and mash with peas and gravy and fish and chips and mushy peas were delicious. Full marks to Dan the new chef. Traditional home cooked apple pie and custard was a treat also. All really good value 😊

Went here for the first time on Friday night well it was brilliant. The atmosphere and staff were fab. There was karaoke which was a brilliant laugh. Def going back. Cheap bar prices.

Refurbed just over a year ago, I have previously given this Marston's pub a four star rating for it's standard of service, presentation and facilities, which include a lovely beer garden at the rear. But on my latest early afternoon visit in July '19, there were very loud sweary customers in the main bar area, with only eight or nine people on the whole premises at the time, and no attempt made by management or bar staff to curtail this unacceptable behaviour. Who wants to eat or drink, in a premises where there is loud swearing, especially @ 2pm on a weekday? Also, the beer garden had clearly not been cleaned, with cigarette butts and rubbish everywhere.A massive big let down, ultimately as a result of poor management, which only results in decent punters going elsewhere.

Awful food. This is apparently a prawn cocktail served with gluten free bread. Except it was served without the bread because they didn't have any. And without actually making it into a prawn cocktail. Basically defrosted prawns in a bowl. I also ordered nachos which were stone cold. Never again.

Decent local pub. Cheapest drinks around, occasionally live music and events on the weekends. Food is cheap and of a decent standard. Two pool tables, darts board, arcade games and a typical jukebox. The beer garden is the best feature of the pub however. A good size, nice sheltered area and excellent sunlight during the summer. Best beer garden in parkstone!

My daughter and I had been wedding dress shopping and at three o'clock decided to eat. Although the pub had stopped serving meals, the landlord contacted the lady that prepares the food and asked her if it was too late. She immediately came down and told us that it was no problem. We had a very nice curry and fish and chips, good size portions too! Will certainly return! Excellent customer service!
