Nice pub, big garden, good parking, near the Castleman Trail. Men's toilet a bit small for such a pub of its size

Arrived and got told that we couldn’t be served food outside so had a drink in the sun and then moved inside only to be told that we couldn’t be served food inside as we hadn’t booked . Tried to book online but there were no bookings available online. As regular customers to this establishment I will never frequent this place again . The restaurant was near empty and there were only 2 of us. This is a very poor way to run a business. No wonder pubs are closing left, right and centre. Lucky for you, you are part of a huge a huge group so will more than likely not care at all what I think.

Just stopped for a quick coffee after a walk. We said we only wanted a coffee on arrival and asked if that was ok, girl at bar still felt the need to inform us that the "kitchen was closed to walk ins" despite us already having said we only wanted coffee. I suggest that maybe the first thing a member of staff say when walking in to a place where you intend to spend money is not a negative it's quite off putting. Coffee was fine. Pub was cosy and surprisingly busy!

My wife and I had a lovely meal here tonight. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The food and service was top class. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice venue in a nice location. The food was really nice especially the beef dripping sauce. Unfortunately part of our order wasn't brought out til after we finished and at this time the toilets were out of order only leaving a single disabled toilet for everyone to use.

A great meal and overall a very impressive dining experience. Friendly and attentive staff with faultless service. Amazing choices from the menu including plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which was an extra bonus for us. The food was absolutely delicious and decent portions. Highly recommended, definitely will be back! Thank you Willett Arms!

If tack of lamb were in a beauty contest, this would win hand down. The picture hardly does it justice. Excellent service, friendly, attentive and helpful staff. A spacious garden with various types of seating. Table service both outdoors and in. Good extensive menu...all well cooked and well presented

11:55am (kitchen would open at 12) I ordered a flatbread with homous, was offered chips or salad with it, not realising there was already a load of salad with the flatbread I'd have rather ordered chips - staff could have pointed it out.Coffee came promptly but the flatbread only arrived at 12:18 - considering I was the first to order and there were only a handful of customers with an about equal number of staff hanging around by the bar chatting and checking their phones rather than paying attention, the waiting time was rather long for something that'd take even me no more than 2-5 minutes to prepare. The young lady who was serving didn't bother with cutlery I had to get up and ask as she was bustling back to her colleagues for a chat. The homous flatbread and salad was plain, uninspiring and rather expensive for what it was. Maybe add some chutney and roasted peppers etc? Small mixed marinated salad okay but not very practical in a deep cup. When I feel that I can do much better myself and the staff pays little attention to customers whilst the price tag is above average, there is not much incentive to return!

Update Aug 21: The 1/2 Roast Chicken with BBQ sauce is one of the nicest meals I have had the pleasure of eating. Switched the skinny chips for chunky ones which which were divine with the gravy and aioli. The service was friendly and efficient especially considering how busy they were.Sept 20: Lovely food and good portion sizes. Fairly priced and very well cooked. Relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be making another visit in the future.

Good quality small chain pub with excellent Covid safety and an permanent outdoor shelter with lights & push button heaters. Also has a large garden with additional outside tables with parasols & a large free car park. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. Just off A31 and a little south of Wimborne town centre.
