Food is good and the building is remarkable. Staff are helpful and friendly except for the skinny, jittery, aggressive rude man that served me. He polite to me while being abusive to his fellow colleagues. Not a great impression, might have made 4 stars if not for him.

I'm giving the Poole branch a 4 star rating, as the staff are always very polite and chatty. And, to be fair, the roast is still pretty good value for money. However, for a long time this branch has required an overhaul in terms of refurbishment. My wife and I would visit more often (it is our local), but it is far from appealing! It's a real shame, as it could be a great place, based on the unique building and large rear garden area..... but it is all very tired! Looking forward to a time when the company invest in the branch and realise it's great potential!

Went to Toby today Easter Saturday pleasantly surprised to see it was nearly empty. No body at the bar 10 minute wait then the lovely Lilly showed us to our table she was lovely very efficient at seeing to our needs. Most had Carvery unfortunately offered sausages instead of turkey as they ran out. We all headed back to the table and then waited 25 minutes for the others to receive their food we ordered deserts and some were missing so changes made some didn’t turn up. We asked for the bill and waited a further 45 minutes and no sign of the bill we were told the manager had to remove the profiteroles that didn’t turn up, we kept asking where he was and was told he was in no rush to do it. We decided to head to the bar for them to do our bill which was painstakingly slow eventually he went off to see the manager who then arrived very grumpily and removed items from the bill not speaking to any of us and dissapeared leaving us bewildered and annoyed that we had been waiting so long what should have been a pleasant birthday celebration ended badly

My son took me for lunch here yesterday, we had a lovely roast dinner . Waitress was a sweetheart so pleasant . Although we queued it didn't take long to get through. Food was very well cooked.

Great food cooked perfectly, service was excellent. Only one negative is when you book a table online it adds to your Mobile phone calendar. I booked a table for 13:20 but it was 1:20pm on the website so my phone kindly reminded me at 00:50 in the morning. They need to display there slots in 24hr clock maybe.

Overall Toby Carvery is good value for money and so is generally busy. The building is a bit shabby in places but it has a decent amount of parking. Just be aware they only serve a Carvery on Sunday no other menu options.

I ordered from just eat , my order came 15 minutes late and then when I opened it I was missing a complete meal. I then proceeded to ring and ask where my meal was that I was missing , I was then told that it’s not their fault it was just eats fault ( even though my bag was completely sealed meaning the restaurant just hadn’t put my whole order in, therefore no it’s not just eats fault ) he then told me that they can’t sort that for me and I will have to ask for a refund for that meal I was missing and re order that meal. So I have now paid double delivery costs (around £8) because of their **** up ?!?! This is unacceptable! And I should receive money back on one of the delivery charges as it was not my fault they didn’t give me the correct order !!!

As with all Toby Carvery restaurants you get good quality food, what sets this Toby above the others is that the food is always cooked nicely. We eat here as a family at least three times a month and we have never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend Toby Carvery Poole to anybody wanting a good value honest meal, also the breakfast is pretty good as well.

Stopped here for breakfast this morning with the family. Its not our usual breakfast haunt but thought we'd give it a go as their roasts are delicious. Have to say though that their breakfasts are fairly sub standard. Most of it was overcooked and there wasn't a great deal of choice. We may be back I'm the future, but not for breakfast.
