Chipperies in Purbeck

Really nice fish and chips. I have been to Wareham many times in the past few years and have often had fish and chips from here. Never had a complaint. I usually phone them from the nearby pub to order so I can collect on my way to the station. Always ready on time. This is a good idea as it gets very busy. Nice staff and well worth visiting.

We had the best fish and chips we’ve tasted in a long time at lunchtime today. Perfectly cooked and tasty . As part of the lunchtime special offer …….very good value too . Definitely recommended and we will be back soon. Thanks 😎 Andrew.

Great Fish & Chips. Light crispy, proper, chips. Great fresh fish. Can't guarantee everyone gets the bonus art work but we loved ours. Thank you.

I was told that this was the best fish and chips shop. Sadly, not the case when we visited. The staff were totally uninterested in what they were doing. Amazingly slow and totally unapologetic when they got our order wrong twice. I hope we were just unlucky. We will be trying another shop in Wareham should we want fish and chips again. I should say that when we finally got our order it was ok.

Good grub. Good service. Great fish and chips. Not so keen on burger tho. Dogs like the sausages so that's good.

Very good fish and chips, good portion of fish, but too many chips for most of us. Friendly service. Gave us the meal deal even though we had not asked, so great value meals. I'd definitely recommend this fish and chip shop.

Had a very pleasant experience here today, lovely fresh fish, beautifully cooked batter and lovely atmosphere. Staff went over and above board with caring for my elderly parents. For a takeaway chip shop was superb. I would recommend it any day .Thank you for your care

My friend was taking her elderly parents out for a treat, fish and chips by the river, we went into the Chipperies and got our lunch. Fantastic food, freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them

great chips - the best I've had in a while. not too greasy. crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. Also they don't get soggy (even with lots of added vinegar) as they serve them in a box instead of a bag. Well done. Many thanks!!

Great fish and chips! I go to Wareham regularly and always go here for dinner. Simple place with no inside seating but plenty of benches near the river to sit and enjoy. Always busy at peak times so expect a short wait - which can only be a good sign!
