Pleasant cream tea in lovely surroundings. Service was efficient and friendly.

After a visit to the fossil museum, we popped in for a sarnie and a drink. Everything was fresh, and tasty, chips were fried to perfection. If only We lived closer...

If you enjoy a cosy atmosphere, this place is for you! In a tiny farmers village, the restaurant is located in a country cottage with parking. I particularly liked the cider and the delicious food (we had a lamb Sunday roast).

Pre-booked. Came for weekend lunch with a large group. Nice weather so decided to sit outside. The ordering at the till was quite chaotic, would have been easier to just take orders from the table. 10 mins after placing our orders we were told the fish and chips had sold out (it was 1:30) so reordered. 15 minutes later told there was no halloumi left. Table next to us similarly exasperated when only one of their orders came and had to wait another 10 mins for the rest of their families orders. Food finally arrived after 45 minutes. Nothing to be desired. Young team of staff who were nice but could do with some more leadership and direction from management. A real shame because this place had been recommended to us by someone who had visited a few years ago when it was obviously quite a different establishment.

We stopped off for a late lunch last Saturday and were made very welcome. We had the seafood chowder and it was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly too.

Such a beautiful quaint place.Lovely cosy place to visit.Food I would not recommend. We came due to a past Xmas dinner, it was amazing!!This year very basic & very tasteless, we did not enjoy our Xmas meal, most definitely a change of chef!!Coffee after, nope, would not remember the coffee either, as strong as tar...& we're coffee drinkers.10 of us, doubt will not return.Such a shame.

It's food is good but charged slightly higher than average since there isn't any where else nearby. There is lots of outside eating which is good because for some reason there are lots of flies in the vicinity, so many inside that it is off-putting. They have a fly zapper but I think the flies have evolved to ignore its beckoning glow.

Great place for just a bite, (I had a flapjack and flat white), or considerably more if that's what you're after. Beautiful rural location, good menu and friendly service. A little pricey but to be expected considering the high quality of offerings and excellent location. Recommended

Amazing Food. Service with a smile. Highly recommended. Had Aubergine Parmigiana, was cooked supremely with abundant flavour. Attentive friendly staff who cannot do enough for you.COVID Secure which is important in the current climate. Outdoor seating option too which Imagine would be quite wonderful during the warmer summer months.
