Great bakery. I've been coming here on and off for about a decade and I've never been unhappy. It's quite funny reading all of the negative reviews from adults acting like children because they were asked to wear a mask.Imagine letting something so trivial ruin your day. I for one am glad that they're all not returning customers because it will make the bakery a much nicer place to frequent.

I’ve visited twice in the last 6 months. Very pleased with the food and coffee. The prices seem very reasonable to me. Friendly and prompt service from the staff too.

HIGHLY PROCESSED JUNK FOOD OUTLET purporting to be a quaint village bakery. It is a simply awful offering. Putty like 'baps' made of monoglycerides, butylated hydroxyanisoles and Azodicarbonamide. Mass produced plastic wrapped fake baps filled with limp imported salad and processed meat. In the 21st century you expect fresh home made sour dough breads and pasties made in store or by excellent local artisan bakers like Winfrith Bakery. The Corfe Castle Bakery is a disgrace. Notwithstanding the health threatening food they bizarrely shoo healthy triple jabbed LFT'd potential clients standing 3 meters away to wear a face mask! No amount of needless facemaskery will disguise truly dangerous ingredients in pastries and breads in a 'bakery' that makes a McDonald burger bun look positively healthy by comparison. AVOID.

I visited in August 2021 whilst on a day trip to Corfe Castle. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place due to the way they treat their customers. If like myself you are unable to wear a face covering due to a mental illness that requires you to take medication, avoid this place. Even if you wear an exemption lanyard, you will not be made to feel welcome by the staff. They will treat you like a diseased leper by forcing you to stand in the doorway. There are many other dining establishments in the area that deserve and will gladly welcome your custom.

Having just returned from a week away in Swanage, we frequented Corfe village often, including the Bakery. I was surprised to read so many negative reviews, as that was certainly not our experience. I did forget one day to put a mask on, but the staff were never rude to me and politely asked me to wear a mask. It's a very small shop and there are notices on the door and inside that customers wear masks and no more than 4 people in the shop at one time. The bread was hot and fresh, a lovely selection of cakes and pastries and I would highly recommend the sausage bap!!! We would definitely return to this beautiful little village.

I'm not one to add negative comments to businesses. I just think leave them to it, but your treatment of me yesterday was quite upsetting. We both came in so polite and friendly, stepped aside nowhere near you or your fully covered counter to see what pasties you had on offer as there were no obvious signage on them. To be greeted with can you please put your mask on. My husband was wearing one and I had my lanyard clearly on display. To them be told, oh, can you step out side the door please. I'm sorry we decided after a lovely upbeat walk around castle feeling in such a lovely mood admiring your beautiful village to walk into your store to be greeted in such a manner. Had I bothered to read reviews and see how you treat us with traumas of our past which leave us unable to wear a mask I would never had even looked into your establishment. Your excuse of being unventilated in your replies is absolutely no excuse for the way in which we were greeted! No other establishment has treated me like that. Customer service training is needed!!!!!!

Not impressed by the passive/aggressive nature of the guy in this shop.My wife is exempt from wearing a mask and had her lanyard on display when we entered the shop. Mine was on fully as always. She was asked to wear a mask but pointed to her lanyard. He then said could you stand in the doorway. You made her feel embarrassed about not being able to wear a mask which she physically can't for reasons I won't explain her.We left. Nothing is worth being treated in that way. Your staff should think twice about what they say to customers as you don't know the story behind why some in society are exempt.Trust me its far from a lifestyle option.

My wife and I were treated badly by this baker today 31st Aug. 21 after the man in the shop he shouted at us when we stepped in to see on what we could buy from them .On the 19th July we were all told it's up to you if you want to wear a face covering or not .You can ask yes but if you don't wear one thats up to you he was only prepared to serve us from the door not good enough so we took our money elsewere , he did not accept the fact my wife still has her old mask exemption card showing .

Nice little homemade bakery products that are at good price. Highly recommend the steak bake which uses a rich wine red beef and the florentine which was delicious! It is a perfect stop next to the Corfe castle.

Lovely little local bakery with a good selection of tasty fare. I knew it would be good when I saw the queue going out of the door. Friendly staff and a welcome site after taking a leisurely trip on the steam train. There’s a few pretty places to sit down and eat nearby and if you go across the road there’s a map showing the directions to a picnic area.
