Gee whites in Purbeck

I have been to this place a few times. I went there 6 June 2021 and was very happy and our fish and chips look good so took a picture.What a different 6 Months makes went there again 28 March 2022 and it was very bad. Fish was a gray/white colour it was covered I thick batter that was floury and white on the underside. Chips only just warm and soggy, peas almost cold.Also 6 Months ago cost £9.50 and now £13.50I will not be eating here again as plenty of other places.

We always have fish & chips here when in Swanage. It's not cheap but always excellent quality and the cod enormous and in lovely crisp batter. The view across the bay to the Purbecks from the tables at the rear of the restaurant is fantastic on a good day. Well worth a visit

Had the seafood platter.. it was delicious.. lovely and fresh and it filled me and my husband up . And a lovely lunch with a wonderful view.

Excellent service & dining. Enjoyed the delicious food & friendly service. The al fresco dining & superb view of Swanage bay from this vantage point is a great experience too.

Popped in here to grab a bite eat and we were pleasantly surprised - food was fresh and tasty, and the views out to sea were life affirming innit. We easily found a table, food came fast and the restaurant seems to functioned well rejigged for Covid - overall would recommend

Awful food very long waiting time. I witnessed many taking food back and asking for a change or refund. Its very expensive for frozen food heated up and served on plates. I would not recommend coming here. There is many restaurants very near and still by the coastline.

Stopped here for a quick cider before walking back up the (very steep) hill to where we were staying at Durlston. Very busy, hungry kids and hungry gulls everywhere! Didn't try the food, but it seemed very popular, with a long queue at the food hatch.

Top spot on the beach front. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the chap from Sicilly. Didn't eat, but food looked very appealing. Photo is taken from Cafe seating.

This is a pretty nice place. Quite sheltered but with a good view of the bay. Tasty fish and chips which you could argue is a sea side staple. The pizza was also pretty good. Well worth looking at the menu as there are a few options. Very nice eating.

Stopped here for a couple of drinks in the sun and people watched. The staff kept it all clean and safe for everyone but still had time to keep it all normal. Good selection me beers and wine. The food also looked good but we did not have any.
