Hong Kong Garden in Purbeck

Food was good. Oddly in the current climate they do not have a card reader had to go to shop next door and pay £ 1.75 to get out cash.

Worst Chinese I have ever had got our order wrong and I think they poured the contents of there deep fat fryer on our entire meal so much grease absolutely hideous

Collection only.Really tasty and hot.Tasty egg fried rice.Free prawn crackers, spring rolls and fortune cookies.

Stayed a little way away for a xmas break got let down by the local pub for food so decided on a Chinese.We are so glad we did our meal was quite simply the best Chinese meal we have ever had and i travel the country as a contractor and have eaten in most areas of the country.We had the house special rice as part of our meal, in fairness this is a meal in its own right....It also says a lot when you are prepared to leave the kitchen on clear display to the public, there is no place to hide when the customers can watch you prepare their food....... Thank you guys for a fantastic meal we will come back if we are in the area

A good Chinese takeaway, much better than most. Careful to check which dishes were gluten free.

One customers opinion can vary widely to the next which makes each one subjective and a personal view . Having said that and with many uses in the past , the food we collected last night was both well cooked and very tasty . I particularly liked the crispy beef and chicken curry which went extremely well with our choice of egg fried rice . Two very generous bags of crackers , one free , were excellent. Thus this takeaway is firmly on our takeaway list again .

Having a long weekend in west lulworth with my two grown up kidsFound this place on the internet and looked at the reviewsWas in two mind’s wether to go here due to some really bad reviews but we gave it a go and we were pleasantly surprised,Yes it was cash only (maybe a tax dodge ? Who knows) the food was ready for when we arranged to collect it , it was all there , tasted nice and we enjoyed it ,Overall a good experience and if we came back to this area , we wouldn’t hesitate to use it again ,Thank you Hong Kong garden 👍

Had a meal with my family last night, for the price of the food it was awful ended up ill with in minutes after eating it. And when we placed the order given a collection time but when arrived to collect it they started cooking it, really disappointed.

Nice selection and generous portions. Cash only which is a pain. Their pancake rolls are amazing. If you spend more than £20 they’ll give you a free dish and prawn crackers. Only real issue is their timings. They tell you an hour and it’s NEVER ready on time. All in all though good value.

Holidaying in the area and though we’d try this but unfortunately the food was awful and none of us finished. The curry was watered down the mushrooms tasted fishy and even the chips weren’t right.Also worth noting that they only take cash payments,,, hmmmmmmm
