La Trattoria in Purbeck

Lovely meal last night. Fortunately we booked as they were turning walk ins away as they were so busy. Food was excellent, especially the Pizzas. Specials selection was very good. Staff were accommodating with the kids. Would definitely return if we visit Swanage again

a really relaxing family run Italian restaurant with a good menu, good price and an exceptional service. even though we hadn't booked they squeezed us in. (even if it was next to the ladies!) I highly recommend the restaurant but book if you can!

Nice food. Lovely ambiance but quite old style food and flavours. That said it was a welcome haven when most of the town had bedded down. Resomably priced bill. Generous portions

What could you say to do this justice?We came with our granddaughter and her boyfriend, who has to eat gluten free food & the staff couldn't have been more helpful.Good selection of food, which we all enjoyed- really tasty! Service was attentive but relaxed & bookings were spaced out so nothing was rushed.As good as it gets!

We visited here on a Saturday night and had pre booked which I would recommend as it's not very big inside and they were having to turn people away.It's a family run business and is simple in its layout.The staff were attentive during out visit with the food been hot and tasty.There is plenty of choice on the menu all at an average price.So if your visiting Swanage it's well worth a visit.

Nice food and friendly staff. They were happy to swap out mushrooms for mixed peppers on my pizza. They also have balsamic vinegar. They are only using a few of the tablets to help with social distancing. They seem to have the same problem as many shops in the area, that they are short staffed.

A good pizza place. Have been eating here for years and find it to be a reliably good pizza in a nice atmosphere. A range of other good dishes too but you should just get pizza. The bread and butter pudding dessert is also great. Surprisingly busy even in the off season so consider booking. Reasonably priced.

My boyfriend and I had dinner there last night, it was the only place in town that served food other than subway, we went inside, and as soon as we saw the menu we were amazing, lots of options, and when we took the food we we amazed, the portions were quiet big for the prices, when we asked for the mussels as a started we thought we would get like 4 or 5 (9.5) but nope, we took a whole plate and they were extremely good. The service was very good too. Of we ever go back to this town, this will definitely the place where we will eat!
