Limestone in Purbeck

The room was fab, Jennifer and Victoria were great, friendly and lovely. If I was to critise it would be the menu, even though we had great food, we thought the menu could be a little more diverse, say a pasta meal, or maybe a chicken salad, otherwise lovely. Thank you x

Friendly staff. Intimate restaurant with good food. Pretty rooms but very poor sound proofing which was annoying as the people next to our room decided to get up at about 0530 then TV on at 0630. The problem sits with their inconsideration but at the same time sound proofing between rooms isn't sufficient.

A wonderful hotel in a superb location. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. This was our second visit and looking forward to the next one.

Just back from an all too short stay at this jewel of a hotel. Claire’s warm welcome set the tone for our trip and she and Oleg ensured we received excellent service. The room was delightful with great views and the food delicious. Hotel location is perfect for some stunning coastal path walks. Durdle Door was breathtaking and Lulworth Cove 10 minutes away. More walks to complete so we will definitely be back.

Amazing stay at the Hideaway in West Lulworth. So much to choose on the menu that we had something different every night. The Hideaway was our tranquil home with our own decking overlooking the village for evening drinks and relaxation after some long walks.Having stayed at the Chewton Glen tree houses, this beats them hands down for comfort, individuality and personality...it truly is a treasure find. Staff were friendly and welcoming and will definitely be coming back....we've found our perfect Dorset hotel stay.

My husband and l stayed at the limestone hotel last week for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday. What a fabulous hotel and such a lovely warm welcome from Edward, Claire and all the staff we came into contact with. We were given the opportunity to stay in the hideaway and what a stunning peaceful retreat it was. Made my birthday even more special. ( thank you Edward). We chose to have our evening meals at the lodge hotel as it held lovely memories of our stay there two years ago. Also lovely to walk to the cove after dinner. The food was excellent and the service was delivered in a very friendly cheerful manner. Thank you Ellie, Madison, Charlotte, Becca and last but not least Charlie for looking after so well. We look forward to another visit in the not too distant future.

Oh my goodness! We booked a dinner reservation after getting engaged at Durdle door. We were waited to like never before in our lives! I was so thrilled to have ended my perfect day in this exquisite hotel. It was like nothing I've ever been too I am lost for words both of the men in the hotel were brilliant and the food was the best I have ever eaten. Nothing comes close to the dining experience I have had here tonight. You pay for what you get but my gosh the view was amazing also. Thank you very much for such a special night

We absolutely loved limestone hotel!! The hotel and staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and our room (The Explorers Room) was perfect for our short stay. The hotel itself was beautiful and the location was fantastic with only a 5 minute walk to Lulworth Cove. The food was also delicious. We would definitely stay again!

We were given a very warm welcome and great service from Oleg and the waitress serving us. All our meals were perfect. Would recommend the Limestone Hotel and would like to return ourselves. Sadly they are fully booked for the next few days so we will have to wait until we are back in the area.
