Middle Beach Cafe in Purbeck

Awful coffee... Very, very weak, luke warm, tiny latte @£3. I've genuinely not had a coffee so bad as long as I remember. Small cup was only 2/3 full as well... Maybe upgrade your machine at least, even a £50 home espresso machine could do better. A French press would be better, anything! Food wasn't as bad as the coffee (cooked breakfast) hence two rather than one star, except, eggs over cooked, the watery tomatoes from a tin which turned the plate into a soggy soup and the world's cheapest ketchup - why!?!? Now going to find another cafe for a proper coffee. Disappointing, wouldn't come back.

Lovely little beach cafe. Make sure you walk down the road to visit. Due to coastal erosion the beach is like sinking sand ,full of soft seaweed and you do sink in it. Fantastic breakfast and lovely outdoor seating area. Visited here and had a coffee and breakfast before the walk to old harry rocks. Lovely friendly place with lovely food and they even do a beer of you fancy one.

Lots of options, including gluten-free cakes, were a great surprise after a stop of our cycle from Old Harry rocks. It is a great setting, with far-reaching views across the bay.

Really nice food, better than I expected. Bit of a windy spot so hang on to your salt, pepper and sugar (and empty sauce sachets etc). Good ice cream as well ☺️

Loved this place! Sat outside, had some superb good from some really friendly staff. Robins foraging next to the benches overlooking the beach too!

Lovely cafe with a nice view. Service was really friendly and the food was great! Prices were a bit expensive but well worth it as the portions were large. The bacon and brie toasted sandwich was amazing!

Great food served. Crabcakes and crab sandwich both excellent. What a brilliant beach cafe in a fantastic location. Ice cream hut adjacent serving goodies.

A large hut on the beach selling good food & refreshments.Prices are competitive but given the prime location they’re not extortionate.Good covid instructions & you can go in to make an order & if it’s prepared food it will be brought to your table outside.The view & location is spectacular, this is the UK but if you put your blinkers on, you could be anywhere in the Med, it’s a gorgeous place to be, on a beautiful summers day 😎

Fantastic view, lovely food and friendly staff. We had a crab sandwich with crisps and salad and a bacon, brie and cranberry toasted sandwich with a big bowl of delicious chips to share. Note payment by cash or bank transfer only. No cards. Our second time at this delightful place and will definitely be back for more.
