Seven Stars Inn in Purbeck

Had a nice meal there, good quick service.nice staff. Played pool and enjoyed a drink. There is a big outdoor kids play area. Lots of parking and loads of room to sit indoors or outdoors. Would visit again if in the area.

Great pub, great food. Fantastic value meals, particularly the steak options which are plentiful. Sizable meals too (it's the only place I've been to and never looked at their desserts menu!) Also has a pool table and play area outside for the kids. Indoor, outdoor and conservatory eating.

4 generations of the family at the Seven Stars today, they catered brilliantly for every age group. Service exemplary as always! Children's Play area was excellent and well kept. (Wish one or two parents kept a better eye on their offspring but that is no reflection on the pub).First time in my life I have ever asked for a doggy bag to takeaway, just couldn't finish my crayfish, prawn and smoked salmon main, but it was divine. Thank you to all the staff there for a fantastic and memorable lunch, yet again!

We had a lovely meal here, the food range is very good as is the food but unfortunately we were not impressed by the service, the young girl who served us seemed like she just wanted to finish her shift and go home, we had to go to the bar to ask about desserts and then when we tried to order was told "can't do that one" "or that one, oh I could cut up some cake!" But saying that the food was very good and a large choice, and a majority of the other staff were friendly and helpful. The place was busy when we arrived at 7.45pm but quickly emptied out, but that was more to do with the time of year and the weather. A wonderful log fire with sofas near the bar looked very inviting and the pool tables were well placed at the other end of the pub.

Really nice, open fire, pool table, separate bar and restaurant area depending on how you're dining. Nice big conservatory to dine in during the summer.The staff are really friendly, food was served quickly and the beers were different to normal offerings.Will be going back again

Popped in for a meaty lunch after being blown away by the weather. Did not disappoint. Had the 16oz rump, mash, veg and a nice smooth pepper sauce. Was delicious. Service was quick, efficient and very pleasant. Most impressed. Many thanks.

Food was tasty but over priced for what we got. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Few parking spots in the front and few at the back that you don't see until you drive off. Seems to be regulars drinking out front and larger families inside. Service was just alright, I'm used to friendlier. I wouldn't go there again but it was nice for what we needed at the time. Looks like it should have good vibe in the evening. There's also a mini jungle gym for kids on the side.

Good range of food on the menu and what we ordered was very tasty. I had the seafood spaghetti and my friend had the vegetarian version of the chicken spaghetti eg, no chicken in it 🤪👍We sat outside the front on the lawn. The free WiFi connected but wasn't strong enough to actually do anything.Will go back.

Great location, children's play area, outdoor tables for a Sunnier Days and if you fancey it on site clamping.Came for a Sunday roast.... Had 2 meats and seasonal veg with a wicked chess and leak shredded thing!!Plenty on the plate to savour the palate. However only 2 roast potatoes for such a Roast was a disappointment and then noticed other diners not only had roast potatoes but new potatoes too so missed out, however the meals was delectable to the taste buds...Now pudding... Had sticky treacle spo ge and custard... The flavour was to die for... However the treacle sponge was cold a wee disappointing but still a great pudding.. Will have again on our next visit🍰👍💖🌞
