The Black Bear in Purbeck

A great little pub.5 minutes walk from the train station with great outdoor space to sit in the sun and enjoy a pint, a small but great lunch menu offering definitely worth a stop.

Food was fantastic cold beer.. Sun was out so it was excellent great service too. Would a recommend going there.

Great little country pub. We walked 40 minutes from longthorns campsite for food & drinks & they did not disappoint. Friendly staff , nice food at a reasonable price and beer too.

Stop off for dinner and didn't disappoint lovely traditional pub serving pub grub .Not gastro or overpriced food.Nice menu , very clean and friendly atmosphere.

Amazing pub. Friendliest staff, solid selection of beers, and great place to hang out. Their team also gave me milk for my kids breakfast after shops had shut. Proper legends!

Friendly pub in nice location in village. Has changed hands but still seems fine. Limited menu but sounds okay. 3 ales and the one I had was good. Perhaps a little expensive but not by too much

Great food, great positive vibes for just a watering hole. The guys run a great pub enjoyed the ale selection. Love their pale ales highly recommend on the return or travel to Lulworth.

Good food at reasonable prices. I had a tagliatelle and my wife had macaroni cheese. Both tasty enough.The menu size isn't massive but just enough to have choice. Location is good too and the atmosphere and staff were friendly.Good portions were OK too, we just had mains in the end and didn't feel hungry afterwards.

Absolutely delicious crumble! Cute pub, very traditional vibe inside (complete with the staff dressed incredibly smartly for a country pub...), everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Would love to try the savoury food one day as the pudding was a dream.
