"The hungry shark" in Purbeck

I like to visit this place when ever I visit swanage , lovely view of the beach and great food

Didn't eat here , just a beer.Place is kitch enough to warranty a visit . Good location and friendly staff

Stopped here for lunch on a rainy day in Swanage ☺ its a lovely location up on the rooftops and the food is the standard affair in places of this ilk... Just wish the chips weren't of the frozen variety! saying that though the food was piping hot and for the price and the coffee was great 👍 we recommend it for the location mainly but also for value.

VERY good food, excellent staff and great views. The burger was delicious and the fish and chips is far better than Harry Ramsdens. Well done guys.

This is such a Dorset gem! Had the most delicious fish and chips by the beach despite arriving near the time of kitchen closure the lovely staff were kind enough to cook extra cod and chips for us! Amazing views and super affordable prices

Found this delightful little place on a trip to Swanage. The staff were brilliant and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. It’s a small family business and may I say one of the best little finds. I highly recommend it. Thanks for making a great day even better.😊

Lovely place and Very good service. The food was great and presented very well, we paid about £10.50 for Each Burger. The view was fantastic.

We went to the Hungry Shark today and the food was amazing. I had the scampi which was delicious, probably the best I have ever had. The atmosphere was really chilled and I could have quite happily stayed there all afternoon. Will definitely be visiting again before we head home.

Very nice, fresh food, I had cod and chips (VERY nice) and my friend a burger. We paid about £11-12 each (July 2019), very nice. Great portions. Its a cozy lovely place and has excellent views.

Superb little cafe overlooking the beach at Swanage. Hot and cold food and drinks, good prices and adequate portion sizes. At night the whole place lights up and you feel like your somewhere more tropical.
