A medium sized pub at the North {Wareham) end of Stoborough. There is a car park for patrons. The pub includes a dining area which serves lunch and dinner. I had lunch which was very good, but like many similar places it costs more than it used to. But the food is very good and there is a reasonable amount of it.

Staff were so welcoming when we arrived. ( Although the youngest in there with our kids) they were very accommodating and very good service. Food was lovely ( just be aware they do put salt on kids chips) We will definitely be back if we drive past again!

It was fine for what we wanted, good food, friendly atmosphere, special board could do with a few more vegetarian/vegan options, servers were attentive.

Very welcoming. Pleasant old world pub with two seating areas inside and pleasant garden. Good menu with daily specials and choice of real ales.

Great location, attractive venue. Strong prices but equally good quality main courses. The Roast was especially good.Loses stars because:- Worlds driest sticky toffee pudding.- No children's menu,(Instead a selection of the mains are available in smaller portions, but inevitably having seen the full menu and not a separate one this leaves the kids dissatisfied as they wanted another item not reduced). And at the price, almost all pubs would have thrown in a scoop of ice cream for pudding with a separate menu, encouraging adults to also partake.

A great place for a family meal - the dining area is very clean and well distanced so it feels safe and relaxing. Our toddler was accommodated with a highchair and the staff could not have been kinder, to her.The food took a little while to arrive, but it was clearly cooked from scratch so that's to be expected, and it was very enjoyable. I was pleased to see that my steak pie was a proper piece of pie with pastry on the bottom, not a stew in a bowl with a thin, disappointing pastry lid.The beer was good too - 3 ales on hand pump.Recommended.

Visited this lovely Pub on Sunday 11/08/2019. Drinks arrived straight away, following by very tasty starters and delicious mains. Staff very attentive and helpful. Booking highly recommend. Thank you for a very pleasant evening. Happy to return and recommend it! 🙂
