We had a very nice anniversary meal there on Wednesday, the menu was varied with many choices, the food was well cooked, the staff friendly. The prices where average for the area. The building is full of character in a quiet hamlet.

We had a lovely lunch here. Good menu. Really tender and generous roast beef. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We spent one night pitched up behind the New Inn and decided to make the most of the restaurant. The food was fantastic! Fish pie full of salmon, cod and a creamy sauce. The slow roasted Pork Belly was out of this world... Pork was beautifully cooked and the crackling sublime. Caramelised red onion topped mash with black pudding and fresh vegetables made this one the best meals out in years. Highly recommended and well worth a visit whether you're looking for a quiet pitch to camp or just a meal. Wonderful *****

The food was good, no vegetarian, but I eat fish and there was a good choice of fish. We stayed the night in the camping field which has a shower and a toilet which is great for a pub stop over.

We nipped in on a Sunday for a quick light lunch, although busy they managed to fit us in and serve us very quickly.Only had a crab sandwich each but the sidesalad and few chips were perfect accompaniment. Will definitely be booking for a Sunday lunch very soon as all the food we saw being brought out looked amazing and the carvery smells made our mouths water.

Popped in here while staying nearby, what a find!! Delicious homemade pie with chips and vegetables. The pie was full of flavour and all the food was piping hot. We then shared a plum and cinnamon crumble, it was heaven in a dish. I don't normally get round to writing reviews but when the food was as good as this, it needs to be praised.

Being local I could be selfish not wanting to share this place. Credit where credit is due though. For us it's the best Sunday lunch we have found and we have had many. So based on Sunday lunch with a great location for walking and exploring the Purbecks. Great food in the week also if you are not a roast type. I don't think you can beat it so give it a try and share your favourites as well.

Excellent, small campsite. Caravans and mobile home pitches too. In the grounds of a friendly pub which serves food too. Toilet and single outside shower. All clean.Within easy walk of Corfe Castle.
