Excellent Sunday lunch. Beautifully cooked meats with a very unusual cauliflower cheese, swede, cabbage, red cabbage , broccoli, parsnips, carrots roast potatoes mangetout peas, leeks and beans. All fresh and nicely cooked. Excellent, tasty, large Yorkshire puds. Veggie options also available. Good ambience.

Amazing food and great service! Having the bar stool table was fab as you could see the chef cooking your food - loved the specials, had the cashew pulled pork & BBQ pork shop was absolutely delicious - can't wait to go again already!!

Excellent. Great food (carrot and ginger soup), and service to match. An additional positive was the vibe. Difficult to measure or compare with other restaurants but it just felt really relaxed; a calm space away from the outside world. Looking forward to my next visit

Great atmosphere and overall not too bad. Bacon was outstanding! Definitely have bacon. Staff were friendly enough. BUT coffee flavour wasn’t good. Poached eggs were hard and came on what seemed to be a stale, processed white bap. Not a nice piece of sourdough. The full English was a better choice - beans, bacon and mushrooms very good. But a little disappointed overall as had higher expectations.

Yet another great lunch here while on holiday in Dorset. So much choice in side dishes and really great mains - Mediterranean Quiche and hot sausage roll really very tasty! Lovely staff. Dog friendly. And once I had gotten over the lack of diet soft drinks their range of traditional soft drinks were super tasty, would recommend the cola! Will be back when next on holiday!

We went into this restaurant for breakfast, however they had just finished so we decided to order off of the lunch menu. All of our choices were lovely and fresh. We then went for breakfast the following day, it did not disappoint . Everything is locally sourced, with top quality produce.I will definitely be returning soon.

Popped in for a snack a few says ago. The staff were very accommodating and the food excellent. We highly recommend the sausage roll, coleslaw and carrots, all of which seemed to have special, magic ingredients to enhance the fabulous fresh produce and pork. Just delicious! If we didn't live so far away, it would certainly be a regular stop.

Visited The Salt Pig Too twice during our stay. Once for lunch and once for dinner. On both occasions the food and service was absolutely brilliant. Plenty of choice for all palates. All freshly made and the portions were really good. Staff worked hard to make sure we were OK. Would book for dinner to make sure you get a table. We will return

Absolutely Awesome. Look I never give 5 stars unless it's Amazing. Went for Sunday roast (book in advance), great portion sizes, friendly staff. I had the rare breed pork roast. Great experience.

In a world full of fast food, get you a Salt Pig.So fresh and unreal choice!!! Stumbled across this place while waiting for the steam train in swanage on a really hot day and god this is what you need , it’s great to rock up and grab Fresh Food .I could go on but let’s just say you will not be disappointed 😁
