Amazing place. We stopped here just by chance really and we were so happy we did. We started with pumpkin soup as it was very cold outside. We ordered it to warm ourselves up without expecting much from it taste wise… but we could not have been more wrong. Every dish (grilled cauliflower, burger, the puddings) was so well prepared, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and it was obvious that they used quality ingredients. The whole place is clean, well looked after, plenty of parking space. It’s not only worth of stopping there when you are in the area but this place is absolutely worth of planning a deliberate trip just to eat there. We so will be back there!

We stopped here for a light lunch after our visit to Durdle door. The service was a bit slow and staff were nowhere to be seen. But the food was good. We ordered quite a selection to share and they were all very fresh and with just the right flavours. A great little find 😁

Nice pub, with an outside beer garden. A few vegan options that aren't the run of the mill salads. Prices are fair.

Wonderful service, beautiful pub and delicious, top quality food. We were hiking in the area and looking for a non touristy place and most had bad reviews but the Weld Arms seemed the spot. We had the Venison burger and starters, absolutely delicious and for the quality of ingredients and potions, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Yes, a great fish and chips on the menu well done for that! A quaint and convenient place after long adventure on the Jurassic coast with ample parking space and nice surrounding nature. Super clean pub and delicious food 🙂. Staff can be more agile but I will leave that to management.

This local and friendly gastropub has excellent food. My partner had the venison burger, and I had the fish and chips, which came gluten-free as standard (they were the best gluten-free fish and chips I've ever had). It's great to find a pub that considers gluten-free food! We also loved the setting and decor. It's an excellent location for visiting Lulworth Cove or Durdle Door. Overall, it was the best meal of our trip to Dorset!

This pub is well worth a visit! I have popped in here, during the past fifty or so years, when in the area, and have never been disappointed… The renovation is first rate, as is the cleanliness and ambience. I love to see the fresh flowers in vases, which are picked from the estate… The food is excellent and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is good and each course is so beautifully, freshly presented… The soups and hot meals are served hot, not lukewarm… I felt a little ‘unfriendliness’ on my last visit and wondered if it were due to the fact that my friend and I only had the delicious miso and black bean soup and one pot of fresh potato fries rather than the full lunch menu but we were treated courteously and politely. No complaints. I look forward to the next time I visit.

A little fancy pub with amazing food. Service was not the greatest, however definitely worth stopping for venison burger and homemade fries. Highly recommend.

The food here is amazing. We were staying just 500 yards away, so very handy.Lovely friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.Best fish I've had in years, meaty fish with a crisp batter. Highly recommend. We also had a great streak and the Sunday lunch has tonnes of variety on one plate.

A lovely thatched pub situated opposite Lulworth Castle. Beautiful patio garden setting with more garden area for those sunny days.We pre booked as advised on their website and were lucky to get a table. We visited on a Saturday evening and was clear to see why we needed to book. The Weld Arms is dog friendly and all the staff were very welcoming, especially the landlord (sadly I didn't get his name) The food was delightful. I ordered a steak and my mum and wife ordered the fisherman pie which were on the specials board. The steak was lovely with lots of flavour and the fisherman pies were described as the 'best I've ever had' by both. For dessert only I had room for one and so I ordered the poached rhubarb parfait, again delicious. I really can't fault the place and will certainly be back when we visit Dorset again.
