Good fun in the evening, nice little garden and dog friendly.

·

Only one ale on tap, service a bit slow. Nice sun trap in the garden

We stopped by on a busy Sunday lunchtime, partly due to the bitter cold outside and partly due to the Blues festival, with a live band due in less than an hour's time. The food was pretty good and they had an honest selection if Somerset ciders to try. It was clean, warm, reasonable loos and friendly so I would recommend

Very slow service - bar lady not interested in serving. Strange environment with a mixture of locals and holiday makers. No interest in the customer at all. Old man at the bar made a few welcome jestures but everything lacked interest to make it memorable. Food 1.5 hrs wait - hot but tasteless. Shame as we picked this pub over the rest in the town. Real shame

·

Awful service, bar lady more interested in her mobile phone. made to get my own cutlery and waited over an hour for food that wasnt worth waiting for. Avoid at all costs.

·

Great food and drink but more of a drinkers pub. Allows dog's which is a massive bonus of you have a four legged friend.

·

Pub location and atmosphere was nice enough however the food was abysmal especially for the price. Manager wasn't in at the time and the bar woman wasn't up to the job complaining about the order we placed, that she was only paid minimum wage and that she couldn't handle the complaint and was going to cry because of our complaint.Having a drink in there sure but avoid the food like the plague!

·

Disgraceful and dirty venue and a risk to public health. Had my doubts when we walked in and should have walked straight out. One useless mature female member of staff behind the bar who continually claimed she didn't work there. We cleaned our own table and removed the crockery from previous customers as no staff to do it. The table clearly had not been properly cleaned in ages as was incredibly sticky. Ordered a bottle of red wine which came to £24 and 3 packets of crisps as could not face eating what was being served on neighbouring tables. Looked awful. Bar staff lady couldn't find 3 wine glasses for us and when they eventually arrived they were filthy. Crisps were clearly from multi packs as were marked 'Not for sale individually' and un any event were well out of date. Dirty pub with shocking service. We will be pleased to never set foot in the place ever again. A place to definitely avoid

Was an alright place, okay inside, had a pool table and sufficient seating, but charging £5.20 for a pint of Carling is absolute criminal. The other lager they serve is Kronenburg 1664 which gives me the worst hangovers ever so it was a case of picking my poison...

Had a lovely evening here after scattering my grandads ashes at the Pier, the staff were very friendly and the service was great. I lost my drivers licence and bank card but didn't realise until I went home to London the next day and Leon a staff member sent them back to me off of his own back. Will definitely go back there.
