Wimpy in Purbeck

Came here today, cannot fault the food or staff at all however very expensive. We had a cheeseburger and chips, a full English breakfast, a chicken wrap, Pepsi, Tango and a Latte and it came to £28! Seems an awful lot of money.

One word “BRILLIANT” top quality service with top quality food. I have been trying to locate a wimpy for some time now, to my delight when travelling I found this spot, the rest was history.

Came to Swanage for the day. Didn't fancy eating outside and soon found out you have to book to eat in a pub! So came to wimpy... Delicious clean good portions and excellent service from friendly professional staff.

Very efficient waiting staff and very friendly and helpful considering they were very busy. No sweet potato chips though which was a bit disappointing. The veggie beanburger was quite tasty.

It's a rare treat to come here for lunch, But when we do the food is always hot fresh and delicious. Staff are always engaging and polite so it's always a pleasure to come.

Wanted a tasty brunch, good to see Wimpy open, after a short winter holiday. Good service, predictable food. Not too busy.

I visited Wimpy in Swanage on Saturday 3 October 2020 at lunchtime. I was with one other person. What a blast from the past but wow!The restaurant comprises of one medium sized main dining area with several tables with full table service.The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money.Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come and visit again when I'm next in the area.

We really enjoyed our visit to Wimpy. The service was very attentive and friendly and COVID precautions such as contact details and hand gel were excellent. Our food was reasonably priced and very tasty. We also really enjoyed the festive derby! Highly recommended

Don’t get much of a chance to visit a Wimpy, but food is always good so sometimes worth the trip.Nice friendly greeting, we were the only ppl in the restaurant as it was just before lunch time, food was very quick to arrive and was lovely.While eating the waiting staff went from 1 to 6 I would think for lunch cover.We finished our food still the only ones in the restaurant, yet for some reason the staff were now spending their time discussing social activities. Near on thirty minutes went past, while we sat there looking at our empty plates. I stacked the plates, ask whether I should take them over; but instead opted for putting them on to the next table. This did trigger a response and someone came over.
