Bay View Cafe in Sedgemoor

Very rude staff all about 14 years old. No idea about customer service. Worst place I ever had the misfortune to visit.All we wanted was a couple of coffees, why oh why did we pick this place!If this was my shop, I would sack the lot of them, starting with the person in charge who allows this kind of service!If you read this, any still go. I feel sorry for you! Plenty of better choice around.Avoid like covid19!

Went in for food with grandkids the food was expensive and the Quality was very poor and the owner was very rude when I asked to change ham for cheese as the ham looked brown. the owner told me to buy another meal as she will not change it .....

While the food is mediocre and bland its the extremist staff abuse that steers me away from this cafe. Many people that i know have came out of that job severly underpaid and extremely overworked. Some not paid up to 300 pounds and worked 40 hours over the national limit. The mental toil for the staff is horrible and the place should be looked into. My advice: DO NOT EAT HERE

There are a fair few cafes in Burnham, and of the four that I've tried, this one is without a doubt the worst. Even on a not so busy day, the service was slow and the food, when it arrived was substandard, compared with all the other places nearby. I had fish and chips. The fish was frozen, oven cooked similar to what you can buy in the supermarket, as were the chips. When it arrived, the fish was hot, having clearly just come out of the oven, but the chips were cold and undercooked, having come out of the oven too soon, and some time previously.Looking around, the staff appear to be mostly very young, low paid - possibly school or college students. Might keep the wages low and the profits high, but unless this place starts to focus on the food too, then it will continually lose out to the competition in my opinion.

The Rudest staff ever,and the other customers agreed with me.I wanted to leave it,I am not confrontational at all,but I had to say something, that's when the other customers agreed with me.Plenty other cafes in Burnham with great service,so if you appreciate good service don't step foot in the place.Mrs M Potter

Perfect for dog walkers. Bit pricey and not many veggie options but a typical nice cafe. Our dog loved the doggy ice cream.

Lovely sea view cafe. Dog friendly. People friendly. Wide range of hot and cold foods. Ice cream kiosk at front. Has it all. Great cappucinos. Happy staff.

Went in for a Sunday roast which was pretty disaapointing.Tinned peas, bland cabbage and frozen mass produced Yorkshire pudding and the beef was thinly sliced and tasteless. It wasnt particularly cheap either total cost with a cup of tea £12.45. The staff were miserable

Epic grub!! Made a mean curry and rice, everyone else loved their food. Great Sunday Roast and good quality burgers. I also grabbed a crumble and custard for dessert which was immense! Has a sweet view over the bay and staff are all very friendly and helpful! Recommended!!
