Bengal Spice in Sedgemoor

Ordered Online, went to collect, place was shut. left hungry. After 2 confusing phone calls, refund will be with me in 5 days. Been my local for 10+years, usual better than this...My advice is don't order online.

I'm must write a review on this indian take away we have a caravan sited here and was looking for a regular indian take away to have when we are down here I must say after reading the reviews we decided to check it out for ourselves im can honestly say the food was amazing meat was tender in both meals the food was hot to the staff where lovely and we had exactly what we wanted will defo being going back there againThank you very much

Food was bland. Chips undercooked. My naan I couldn't physically eat. One because it had cheese on it, which I can't eat and I didn't order, I ordered a "rocket" naan. And two because it had very clearly been microwaved. It was so tough we could tap it against the table. This was two people trying to tear it apart and we couldn't, which is quite funny really. Chicken was chewy. All six pieces of it.Absolute waste of £30. We paid cash and we drove to collect it from East Huntspill. So wasn't going to drive back in to complain. Previous to this my partner got Salmonella poisoning (diagnosed from the Dr), but we put this down to an unfortunate occurance.But will avoid this place in the future. As I advise other to until they've fixed the oven, as microwaved food isn't the one.

First time we've had a meal from here. It was very tasty, 4 different dishes , poppadoms and naan were lovely. Meal took over an hour to be delivered but worth the wait

Bengal Spice has an impressive menu of options. As a vegetarian I've found too many takeaways just make soggy veg in sauce. Not here. The meals are delicious, very tasty and we'll designed. Definitely not boring curries!I note that the bad reviews relate to delivery orders. I can't comment on that as we've only ordered in person. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food too about 20-35 minutes and was great. Best Indian in the area for vegetarian options (and great non-veggie too!)

No StarsPlaced a telephone order delivery with a rude man. Was told my food would be with me in an hour, patiently waited for 2 HOURS! So called them back and was spoken to rudely . No discount or refund.When food arrived it was cold , chicken taste like rubber. Will not be coming to Bengal spice again ...

When I phoned was told would be 45/60mins which was fine, but after an 75mins I rang back and said driver left 5/10mins ago! 100mins later driver arrives.Food was terrible! Didn’t enjoy one bit! Chicken was hard, cold and got order wrong!

Really disappointed with this place, we’ve used them for two years and always had great food. However, this evening we received the wrong food within our order (which is fine - as this should be easily resolved) but after ringing them up they said there was a mistake with the writing on the order and hung up on us. They were really rude and offered no alternative whatsoever. Won’t be using again.

Smiley people and tasty food! Make sure you get the order right throughout the entire collection process -ordered an aubergine, spinach and ocra vege special and received a chicken, lamb and paneer dish? Also asked for a ravia which I did not receive and had an extra half hour delay.I’m not a vegetarian and our meal was still great!

Ordered online, given a delivery time of about a hour later.. But didn't see it for 2 hours. I had to call and chase it up. No discount or sorry from the restaurant. Feel sorry for the delivery guy getting the agro.Food tast was OK apart from it messing my plans up the next day as my partner had stomach ache for most of the day. Payed over 30 pound for this rubbish.Wouldnt recommended. Avoid.
